Put a lid. When you stop the cooking put a lid on the pan and let it rest for 1 or 2 minutes.
>>
>>7485931
cook it longer
>>
Fucking hell /ck/, doesn't anyone here even know how to fry an egg?

>cook the egg
>at the end, tilt the pan and with a dessert spoon or a spatula pour or flick the oil over the yolk until the remaining white cooks completely.

>option 2, easy over

What's the best fish to use? Best acid? Seasonings? I want your personal favorites.

Catfish + Kale + Tomatoes is my favorite if you don't want to spend much. If money is no object I'm a big fan of yellowfin tuna and mango.
>>
>>7485017
lime and salt, maybe some basil or cilantro if you must
>>
>>7485017
You shouldn't be making it if you had to ask

>>7485021
Catfish??? Kale???? Also, there's no place for tomatoes in ceviche. Will overtake the acidity you are looking for. Shitposting can cause harm to those unawared anon.

>>7485045
There's no place for basil in ceviche. Cilantro is a must tho.

Carrots, bell peppers, pickles

If you tend to gag if it's on its own, maybe you should stick to Big Macs.

Dry beans such as pinto are the most imperushable and inexpensive sustenance period. Best method of cooling then is an effortless approach featuring la crock pot. Once made they can be seasoned and stewed with beef and tomato sauce for chili. Smashed into refried beans for burritos. Served in a bowl with a hunk of cornbread like the hillbillies do. There's beans n rice. Your ghetto ass don't have to starve.
>>
The best advice I can give is to learn where and when to shop, when to sacrifice quality for lower price and when to stick to your guns and buy the costlier item, which foods are economic to make at home and which aren't, seldom to never buy canned beans (especially not lentils)* and how to use a freezer.

>* 1lb bags of dry beans cost anywhere between 99¢ - $1.49 here and can cook up into 28oz or so of beans on average (lentils cook up to 32oz!), while 14-15oz tins of beans cost the same price, meaning you're paying $1.49 for the equivalent of a half pound of dry beans

The only time you should be canned beans is if they're priced under 50¢ per 14oz can.
>>
>>7489905
i buy dry beans and can them myself.. it's only slightly more work than cooking a big batch and i get the convenience of canned without the cost and preservatives

When I was a kid in the 80s I remember these as being edible but not good.

Last year I bought some boxes from a coworker who was pushing them on everyone in the department, and I was appalled at how bad they had gotten.

Has anyone here actually managed to finish a box?

Pale Ales, Porter and Stout here.

Do you brew your own OP?
I've got some American IPA in the ferenter at the moment, using MJ M44 for the 1t time on this bacth, dry hopped with Chinook and Centinal, cant wait to try it, aiming for 4.9%ABV

these
and also bocks, german pilsners, and lambics
i really wish lambics were more popular here in america
>>
>>7488295
There are quite a few breweries now that are making wild ales. I know they aren't the same but its as close as we get unless we're talking about imports.

>>7488241
Lambics/wild ales porters... thinking now I pretty much like anything except for adjunct lagers and IPAs

I'm from /fit (in b4 homo)

I wanted to incorporate vegetable and/or fruit juices in my regime at least once a week (max 3 times a week). Not for detox reasons but for improving my health. I know the old saying is that eating them is better than drinking them but in terms of juices:

What are the best vegetable juices and/or fruit juices I can actually benefit from?

I was thinking of Beet Juice (because I have anemia). Anything else?
20 posts and 3 images submitted.
>>
>>7488015

well if you mean actually juicing them yourself

>fruit
kiwi, pineapple, just about any berry
most other fruits are largely just sugar and irrelevant vitamin c

>vegetable
I cant think of a single vegetable that can feasibly be juiced that isnt great for you
i guess highlights would be carrots, onions, any dark leafy green, beets
>>
>>7488015

Carrot and tomato juice. I think you got the riggt idea going for veggie juices as you won't get rekt by the sugar content
>>
>>7488015
You're doing it wrong. Try 6 granny smith apples, 3 carrots & 3 sticks of celery. Granny Smith apples will help, boxers eat them to remain lean and mean.
