Hey /ck/, I've been a vegetarian/vegan for about 2 years now. It's been a good choice so far, I think.

However, over the past year I've been sick several times for at least a week. I've never been sick this frequently before, and I believe it may be because I'm suffering from vitamin deficiency.

I want to continue eating plants without eating meat, but I don't want to feel like shit because I don't get enough vitamins and stuff.

Does anyone know which vitamins you need to eat to stay healthy and in which veggies or pills you can get these?

I'm from the Netherlands, so any suggestions for local vitamin pills would be a plus!

Didn't read your post, the fuck is the idea here? Mason jar salad? That looks annoying as fuck to eat out of. God damn hipsters.
>>
>>7710871
I'm sorry, this was the only vegetable thing I had on my computer. I'd prefer not to be compared to hipsters, though.
>>
Every vegan ends up where you are eventually, and sorry, you gotta choose your priorities. You can't be healthy AND vegan.

>>7710871
As long as your fork's long enough to reach the bottom, it's just like eating out of a bowl. The real problem with that image is that the salad's packed too tight. The ingredients won't mix when it's shaken, and will spill if you mix it with a fork.

A fat guy has to be really cool to be likeable. Because fat people are generally nasty. I don't like to eat with fat people either they generally lack table manners and tend to talk with their mouth open.

I want to try coffee but I hate bitterness. Are there any non-bitter types of coffee out there? Cappuchinos? Espresso?

I mean, there's 'coffee' like mocha and shit that are super sweet and delicious if that's what you want. Just go to a coffee place near you and ask.
>>
>>7710203
Thanks. Is mocha pretty common in the US at least?

>Thanks. Is mocha pretty common in the US at least?

Extremely. You can get it iced or hot. If you're going for more quality coffee then let it be noted that iced coffee tends to be lower in quality than hot coffee in general, and that anything that tastes sweet tend to be fairly low quality. When I talk about quality I'm referring to the coffee bean grinds that they use. The average person doesn't really know or care about that though, so if you're just looking to get into coffee more easily then grab anything from a local place or any coffee place that sounds good.

How come my chocolate chip cookies always come out tasting pretty bland?

I soften the butter before I use it, I pack my brown sugar, I chill my dough before cooking, I use every ingredient exactly and yet they never taste quite right.

Does anyone have any childhood recipes or anything? These are the recipes I've tried.
http://allrecipes.com/recipe/10813/best-chocolate-chip-cookies/

http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/food-network-kitchens/chewy-chocolate-chip-cookies-recipe.html [pic related, which looks totally different]

I just remember them tasting better when I was a kid, more chocolatey and sugary I guess. And not so rounded.

What's the best from scratch Bloody Mary recipe?

My alcoholic grandmother made them the best. Don't know her exact recipe.

My pleb recipe:

>Mrs. T's or V8 tomato juice
>Vodka
>Splash of Tabasco
>Omit worsterschire sauce
>1/2 teaspoon horse radish (or to taste)
>Celery salt

Garnish with green olives on a tooth pick.

Wisconsin where I live now is weird. They also garnish with sausage and cheese curds often.
>>
>>7709428
good vodka (the worse it is, the more you taste the booze)
mixer
hot sauce
worchestershire
citrus (lemon/lime)

The real part is the garnish. PIckled asparagus, garnish, beef sticks, pearl onions, pickled garlic. Put most of those in first to flavor the drink.

Yes, you could use straight tomato juice and then season it, but it really won't make it much better in the end other than stroking your ego.

Sup, /ck/. Due to a combination of poor planning and bad luck I find myself in the terrible position of being shit poor. Luckily(?) I found out about this during a trip to the grocery store, so I just might be able to live until the end of next month with what I've bought. Why this matters to you is the fact that I'm going to be posting my meals here in order to push down my crippling anxiety over the fact that I have 2 dollars to my name. Also, I am not a skilled chef at all and will not be listening to input. Enjoy! We start with ramen.

I didn't buy the ramen specifically for this situation, I just happened to get a box of it about a month ago, which is lucky. There have been L33T RAMEN HAX posted here since time immemorial, so I guess this is my chance to test what I remember. I'm using some spicy ramen, kamoboko, sesame oil an egg and some pork steak that I got cheap.
