How do you guys make popcorn?
I usually do it the same way. 2 tablespoons of canola oil in the pot on high, put in a few kernels until they pop, pour in half a cup of kernels, shake until all are popped. Put a bit of melted butter on, sea salt, shake it up.
I have gotten back into popcorn and I was thinking of buying a whirley-pop popcorn maker (with the hand crank) and also buying some flavacol salt that apparently is "movie theater experience" salt. Anyone have experience with these things?
For some reason I haven't had popcorn in like 10 years. It feels pretty stupid, because I love popcorn.

I used to eat a lot of microwave popcorn but I haven't in a year or so. I should get on the popcorn kernels.
Sometimes I like some paprika, or some curry powder on my popcorn. Too easy to load it up with tons of butter though.

Got everything I need, BUT, I was wondering what I should season the meat with besides salt and pepper? Anything special that's essential to a good cheesesteak? I have a fucking huge spice cabinet, so I can pretty much do anything that's needed.

seriously, the beauty of a cheesesteak is it's simplicity. Just don't fuck up the meat and use a good quality bread and a decent cheese. Steak makes it's own sauce. Toss on some caramalized onions and peppers maybe.

I usually eat oatmeal with nothing, I love the texture but sometimes I'll put in a bit of salt and heavy cream.
I don't like sugar in it, you either add a tiny bit and it's bland or add a lot and it's too sweet to eat as a meal.

Marketing it to be healthier is a scam, it's just different. It's fine to drink when you're thirsty, or eating fatty foods and don't want the extra fat.
A lot of older cultures would drink skim milk or turn it into cheese after making butter from whole milk.
