What are the worst table manners you've personally ever seen?
A parent who lets their hellspawn child run around the restaurant.
>>7718175
Was at a buffet, saw some guy blowing his nose at the table then got up to get a plate and food without washing his hands. He contaminated the entire buffet.
>>7718188
>He contaminated the entire buffet.
How? Did he put his hands in the food?
What bar was the worst?

What's the most exotic meat you've ever eaten /ck/? I had camel burgers tonight.
>>7713367
As an australian i find this image rather amusing. Was this really on that reality tv show?
Most exotic is fugu i guess, horse too i guess.
>exotic meat feast
>they're all burgers
If you've only had it in a grilled ground patty, you have no idea what that meat actually tastes like.
Not really meat, but I had horse cheese once. It was actually the best cheese I've ever had.
What would your 3 course last meal be, /ck/?
Whatever I decide to cook. Because I'll still be in my kitchen and not in jail since I'm not a degenerate.
Follow the law, people.
Opener of sorrel soup.
Roast lamb shashlik served on top of turnip pilaf and carrot pilaf (half the plate is one and half the other) with sides of chili-and-garlic beets with coriander, green beans/string beans/yardlong beans in spiced-and-garlicky tomato sauce and a simple plate of wilted spinach with garlic.
Aftermeal salad made from rapunzel.

The same law that gives gay couples the same rights as normal people?
I think not, hombre.
What does /ck/ think of Soylent?
I think it becomes a popular discussion topic every summer. Not even joking.
>>7721246
Maybe people trying to lose weight for the beach?
>>7721249
No, I think people who don't post on /ck/ start coming out of the 4chan woodwork to post about topics vaguely related to cooking (fast food, soylent, lab meat, etc.).
To stay on topic, current research has not elucidated human nutrition and I would not put my health into the hands of the dork that made soylent.
Also, we live in a time where we can get ingredients originating from all over the planet for relatively cheap. Why not take advantage of being born in this time and have a diverse diet? It's absurd to drink glorified Ensure because "you are too busy". It's like thinking jerking off is a substitute for sex, 4chan a substitute for socialization, etc.
It's a millennial sort of mentality.
Currently I'm growing:
>ONION CHIVES
>CHOCOLATE MINT
>GERMAN THYME
Thinking about growing some basil and parsley as well. It's on my to do list.
Love having access to fresh herbs for cooking. How about you anon?
>>7709326
Odd selection you have there, I think thyme would be the only one there I would grow if I only had 3. I'm growing rosemary, thyme, basil, oregano, marjoram, savory, spearmint, dill, anise, sage, lavender, parsley, and shiso.
>>7709343
I use the chives & thyme pretty often. The mint far less often. What would be your most used 3?
>>7709343
>shiso
Same thing as perilla? I found perilla growing in my yard wild last summer. The year before that, parsley. Before that, grape tomatoes.
Haven't found anything outta the ordinary in my yard so far this year.
How do I git gud with these dumb fucking things
It's pretty simple.

Is there ANY way to make potatoes healthy? It doesn't matter that every tasty preparation method involves frying them in oil or covering them in bacon or stew. Take the base ingredient. What is IN a potato that's worth a hot fucking shit? There's a little bit of fiber in the skin, which is irrelevant compared to the overwhelming volume of starch that makes up the rest of the thing.
It's like white bread and white rice. What's good abut potatoes? How do you take the potato and make it actually healthy?
Try googling it.
Have you ever actually reserached the nutrition of a potato and white rice? They are quite healthy
If youre so concerned then buy sweet potatoes or Russets
Boiled
Alright cu/ck/s!
Travelling to stinky but fascinating London today for the weekend. I need your best food suggestions, anything from restaurants to food stalls and pop-up places!
Already have Manze's and Rules on the list. What else?

Don't they sell a lot of fried chicken in London? What is it with Brits and fried chicken?

Happy Friday guys. Tonight we're going to be working on some chicken cordon bleu with a parsley sauce, some roasted potatoes and cream of spinach; yes spinach, finally. It was payday so I opted for some moderately priced ham and cheese from Boars Head. It's going to be another tasty night.
Posting live from the kitchen.
Well crack open tonight's beverage of choice and get started prepping the potatoes. Since they'll take the longest to cook, roughly 45 minutes.
We have some nice fingerling potatoes were just going to halve, drizzle with olive oil, coat with a blend of salt, pepper, cayenne and paprika for color. They'll go in the oven when we get the chicken prepped and starting to rest in the fridge for 30 minutes to shape and firm up.

German-Irish. Is it traditionally a black name or something? I felt it more Celtic or Gaelic.
