Let's keep the ball rolling. Worst Kitchen Nightmares restaurant? Thoughts on the show overall (UK or US)?
>>7708571
Not a worst restaurant but something from the UK series.
>that one place he made a joke about how the Nazi's should have bombed it
US > UK
>>7708571

How many people do the think actually walk around with cash money these days, let alone small change like nickels and dimes?
>tfw you get there late and all that's left of the pizza are those shitty corner pieces
this is truly the worst of feels
>>7711975
lucky for me my favorite part is the crust
>corner pieces are usually crisped to a cracker-like texture
>dip in marinara sauce/ranch/hot sauce/whatever fuck you
>chow down motherfucker because corner pieces are hype
>>7711975
>people that throw away the crusts
Probably a coincidence but everyone I've met who does this, has almost always been kind of a shitty person.
How did you bring your lunch to school? When I was a kid I was so poor I had to bring lunch to school in cement bags
I ate lunch in the cafeteria and bought my snacks in the kiosk, kept the rest of my stuff in my locker. Carrying shit is for faggots.
Our district's food was actually pretty tasty, so I never brought my lunch.
Though I've heard it's gone way downhill since I graduated high school ten years ago. Not sure if it was Obama, budget cuts, or a combination of both.
>>7710479
I just ate the cafeteria food until high school when they started turning out mostly crap. Then I just went to the snack kiosk.
ITT: Post things you didn't know were weird to do until you got roommates.
I put the egg shells back in the carton.
>leftovers with vegetables in them

good grilled cheese recipes?
>>7716477
white bread
american cheese
white bread
grill with butter on both sides until bread is a bit past golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Lurking
This isn't how you do a grilled cheese thread.
There are no recipes, just preferences for types of cheese, bread, or auxiliary seasoning.
You're supposed to ask questions like that, "What's your favorite cheese for a grille cheese?" or "What extra do you like to put on your grilled cheese?"
Me? Caramelized onions. Do them first then grill the cheese in the left over onion grease.
What is the correct Waffle House order?
nobody really knows.
that menu is confusing as fuck. i don't know how drunk/stoned people at 3:00 AM manage to order anything.
2 eggs scrambled, covered, hash browns , smothered and covered, side of bacon, glass of oj.
>>7713760
How is it confusing? You literally can just order whatever breakfast item you want and they'll make it. The menu just serves to show price points.
What are some easy vegan meals to prepare?

Asian fag here,
Been craving sweets so went out and bought a small slice of cake, some doughnuts, and various other pastries.
Expected to chow them all down then go into a food coma.
]
NOT EVEN HALF PIECE OF CAKE and I'm already wanting to vomit due to the amount of sugar that's in it.
What in the fucking name of christ do you white people put that much sugar in desserts? You might as well just drink sugar syrup.
Ok
Go back to Asia.
You drink AT LEAST a gallon of water a day, right /ck/?
>>7710749
what does it mean if i cum out kidney stones? they smell rancid rite
>>7710749
How does a person drink a gallon every day? all i can picture is just guzzling from the gallon jugs constantly.
>>7710749
i've gotten better at drinking water after I found out I can buy a little fake plastic lime filled with lime juice and squirt it into my cup before pouring the water.
most water sucks, and fiji is too expensive
My brother gets kidney stones and won't listen to reason. I tell him to drink more water, he says his arizona tea is mostly water so it should count. well it obviously fucking doesn't if you're still getting them
This used to be my home board but I haven't come here in awhile so I don't know how the discussion topics really go anymore, forgive me in advance.
I want to know what you guys think of some day robots taking over the fast food industry as opposed to having humans doing it. Eventually we'll get to that right? I say this as a service industry worker.
My friend told me that wanting this environment would fall into a category called "techno anarchist" where all physical jobs would be preformed by robots/drones/what have you and the humans could live in a utopia at home.
There are already places where you use some kind of kiosk to order food and then someone (a person) makes it in the back and it's delivered to you.
Also in South Korea they have stores that have touch screens for items and when you leave get a basket of groceries. Obviously, there are still people moving products, but that's pretty advanced and cuts down on theft by a great deal I'm sure.
So would you guys be okay with going to places where a machine being operated by a person somewhere else, made your food after you pushed some buttons at a counter?
If anything I think the service sectors are the last to get robotized, not because you can't do it, but because there's a premium value associated with human contact. Take Japan for instance, heavily automated society, but damned if they don't hire a lot of people for their fast food places. Same with the US, there's often no point in having cashiers from a functional point of view, but they're good for business appeal.
Fast food "cooks" basically are robots already, so I don't see why it wouldn't be fine. They'd still need to hire technicians to make sure everything is running smoothly, and it wouldn't work in a real restaurant where people actually cook.

>This used to be my home board but I haven't come here in awhile so I don't know how the discussion topics really go anymore
>fast food
You haven't missed a thing.
