I had the temago double mac in Japan and it was fucking amazing. I love eggs on hamburgers and they had this awesome black pepper sauce. I feel ashamed to admit that I went back again... I flew halfway across the world only to eat at McDonald's. I regret nothing though, it was great and I choose this.
Now that I am in Canada again I choose the McChicken, the only sandwich for me.
Intrigued by the McKroket. If they sold those in the US I'd definitely get one. Otherwise, you can't go wrong the a double cheeseburger. You'd think the mushroom and swiss would be good, but McDonald's can't do any specialty item right.
I'd like a number 99, please. Served rare.
how often do you take your girlfriend to a restaurant?
What restaurants do you guys tend to visit?
At least once weekly on average. We have a pretty diverse set of restaurants that we visit.
I take her to Applebee's and make her pay half of the 2 for $20.

You sound like my boyfriend
is there anything like this in the US?
We have all sorts of greasy take-out options, but kebab is only really found in pockets here and there, unlike most of Europe where it seems pretty ubiquitous.
Never seen anything like a giant pizza box full of a variety of shit, but it's pretty common for people to order a bunch of deliver/take-out from any of half a dozen different shitty cheap ethnic places that are open late and go to town when drunk or whatever.
Care to explain in detail what's in the box?

What is your favorite variety and why?
Fuji masterrace reporting in, perfect texture, perfect spot between sweet and sour. Runner ups are Pink Lady and Opal
I went to the store the other day and they were selling honeycrisp for $4 a pop

You can eat things and not have them be a regular part of your diet. Imagine that!

I drink about a half gallon or two of kraken every week. Just started adding Ginger beer to about 60/40 and it's perfect. Would recommend.
What do you like to eat when you are having a cheat day or a cheat meal?
Pic related was what I ate last night to cap off a pretty ridiculous cheat day

the only thing you're cheating is yourself

Also slammed 3 of these. Basically a chili dog with tortilla instead of a bun because I had no buns.

Best ones i had were in poland
>Grew up in a house with a terrible salt shaker
>The holes were too big so the salt would just come pouring out even without shaking
>Everyone in the house knew you had to be careful with it
>Grandparents came in from out of town
>Grandfather took the salt shaker
>Mom warns him to be careful with it
>He doesn't hear
>He starts shaking it over his food
>The salt is just dumping out everywhere as my parents yell at him to stop
>He doesn't even notice that there's a pile of salt on top of his food
>He starts eating it
>Everyone is looking at him with their mouths hanging open
>He eats all his food and doesn't appear to notice anything wrong with it
What funny stories do you have about your grandparents and food?

>What funny stories do you have about your grandparents and food?
My grandfather died of a stroke while picking raspberries in his garden. I guess it's not that funny
>>8038625
If he's adding salt to food that's already cooked, then he's probably the one who broke the shaker.
I remember visiting my grandparents when they were snowbirding and we had to split a couple mcchickens, a 10ct nugget, and two fries between all of us. six people. I didn't like seeing them when they were down south with us
Does /ck/ like Biscuits and gravy?
Comfiest Sunday morning breakfast in existence imho.
Obviously
>>8038229
are there people out there who don't like biscuits and gravy?
Haven't had it in a while. I love it with some eggs and hashbrowns.
I'm looking to buy my first big boy all chef's knife. What do you cu/ck/s suggest?

How does your girlfriend feel about you being into cooking?
She loves it? She couldn't care less? She shits on it?
>>8028843
Go away mom, it's hard finding a girlfriend
When I had a girlfriend like five years ago, she liked when I cooked for her.
A gf here, not gonna pull the "cooking is sexy" card, but I definitely appreciate that my boyfriend can cook. It's always nice having a meal cooked for you, and cooking together is fun.
Does anyone here remember in the 90s that nice sushi places started you off with a hot towel to wope your face and hands before the meal?
That was always so refreshing. I wish more places still did that.

Do people honestly belive that loosing all my extra weight and not being obese anymore will fix all my problems?
Just because it's the only problem you see doesn't mean it's the problem that bothers me the most
Diet general I guess
>>8043822
It's the other way around for me
if you dont think getting to a healthy weight will solve a lot of your problems, you probably dont know all the negative effects caused by obesity.
>>8043810
Take it to /fit/. We don't hate ourselves over food here. And honestly, you may have a whole mess of problems, but you're here talking about diets, so even you think it's among the worst.
Look, you can still love food. Just be more selective about it and learn to portion. Use a calorie cutting app like My Fitness Pal, and eat under your calculated Total Daily Energy Expenditure. It's not rocket surgery.
