Stews and soups for me are simple. I have some family that live on farms and if we had extra veggies or meat around what do you do? Toss it all into a big pot with some water and season to your liking. So i guess the real hardy stews and soups are my fav.

Carbon steel right? Season with crisco. Don't fall for any of the meme oils, crisco is the king. Flax seed was never as nonstick as crisco was for me, and it's more expensive.
