School cafeteria/10.....would bite the heads off
>GMOs are bad
>there can be too much cheese
GMOs are not good either.
>>8765454
Wrong
If cheese is not the basis of the meal, and is overpowering then it is too much. Not if it's mac n cheese or a Grilled Cheese sandwich. Just not on a normal sandwich where there is more cheese than everything else.
How come we slaughter cows to eat their meat but dogs are magically exempt from barbarism?
>>8765117
Asian detected.
>>8765117
Dog gets eaten in Japan, Korea and China, anon.
Dogs are eaten in Asia
But really they don't taste very good, so there's not much point
Especially when the dog is more valuable as a work animal, managing your herds
so i was just reminded of this, a film one of my old teachers a long while back showed this to my class. from what i can remember, the whole thing just felt super forced and shoddy, and given it's topic, i'd imagine a few people here are gonna be familiar with it
to me, the whole thing just seems sketchy from what i can remember, like one of those 'reality' shows, except if they were made into a full-on indie film. so, who better to ask than /ck/ about their thoughts on it? i was gonna post about it on /cock/ but i can't post because of 'site maintenance'
here's a link to the 'documentary' if you haven't seen it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAnCOHCVjyU
(like the desc. says watch at 1.25x speed for original speed)
also how's 'fat head'? apparently it's a film revolving around debunking the whole thing from what i've heard but i haven't seen omre than 10 minutes of it
>if you consume more calories than your body burns you gain weight
#wow #whoa
I don't really have any details about this one in particular, but these "documentaries" are infamous for being incredibly biased.
There's a similar documentary where a bodybuilder does nothing but eat McD's for a month.
Calories in, calories out. It might not be the most healthy thing in the world, but you won't turn into a lardbag if you're eating sub-2000 calories a day, even if it's burgers and fries.
Verdict on sparkling water?
Bad for enemas
A quarts and charcoal filtered water from your home faucet is fine. Spring water bought from the bottle is a scam. Any other water a double scam.
>>8763512
It would probably feel really good tho...
Can we have a hotfag hate thread?
What pisses you off the most about them?
>Ahh could use some pepper!
>mmm this is nice but my pizza needs crushed pepper
>Sorry anon I ordered this with onions and green peppers
>Tabasco is great on eggs
>I'll have my wings spicy, do you want any anon?
No.
>>8761141

>they got me the SPICY chicken sandwich

this is the best pasta sauce that money can buy.
>>8760239
>>8760239
I genuinely agree. By far the most bang for your buck.
Want a nicer sauce? Make your own.
>>8760396
>Make your own
Any good recipes? I've been using Marie's recipe but I use a little less oil
>>8755546
>don't talk to me until I had my first coffee
>person proceeds to drink his coffee, finishes it
>talk with the person again, still in a shitty mood
So what exactly was the coffee for?
>>8755546
to get you to shut up for five minutes?
>>8755556
It's not magic.
It just helps the person drinking it feel better, it doesn't make the person they're talking to less annoying.

What is the most challenging dish in the history of gastronomy, and why is it salting a serving-sized piece of beef and then cooking it until it is no longer raw?
>>8771538
This is core problem why /ck/, cooking subreddits, or any cooking forum are cancer.
You don't need a lot of skill to produce anything decent, or at least photogenic.
The result is a large number of arrogant cooks online.
>>8771551
>or at least photogenic
This shit has got to stop though
Over the last 10 years, some amazing dishes have disappeared from higher end restaurants because while they make taste amazing, millennial adults won't order them because they can't post on <<insert trendy social media garbage>>
>>8771551
I concur. The fact remains that traditional skills suck as fine motor skills, reflexes and thinking is rarely, if ever, required for foodmaking. Recipes successfully rendered your average cooking into an affair where only the experience is needed, the rest is in following the recipe.
It's a shame most online cooks can't even manage that much.
i give the fuck up. i'm eating cheetos with a spoon from now on. all they are is cheesy corn granola anyways.
>>8771420
Chop sticks. They make eating all your chip/cheeto experience better. You can reach right into the bag powder free.
>>8771420
>granola
That is not what they are at all.
>>8771492
Shut up op clearly feels less fat when he says granola
Hey /ck/ I'm looking for foods that never expire. I'm preparing an emergency kit and it'd be nice to never have to replace the food or worry about the stench. I'm already aware of the typical ones like honey, dried beans, etc. Is there anything that doesn't go old that isn't on the normal "Top foods that never go old" lists? I browsed Huffpost and a lot of the other top sites and they spit the same stuff. Is there any food that you suspect that never goes old despite an expiration date? I suspect that Debbie cakes never expire but I don't know for sure. I'm going to buy a box and open them 30 years down the road. But that's not in the immediate future.
honey
xD
>>8771201
Come on breh.

Your home canned food in a pressure cooker. Beef or venison pemmican. Any dried vegetable: corn, peas, squash, beans, turnips, peppers, tomatoes, etc. You get the picture. Don't expect corporate america to provide it to you though, faggot. It's entirely contrary to their ethos. The last thing they want is something that lasts.
There's a thunderstorm rolling in here. Don't have much in the cabinets but I've got some buttermilk so I'll make scones.
Does anyone else think gin is a drink for old white trash women? I imagine someone's grandma in a trailer park getting drunk on cheap gin in front of last year's reality TV show anytime I drink it.
Cutting the butter in sucks. It always bends up my pastry cutter. Is it just because my pastry cutter is cheap or does this happen to everyone?
Adding buttermilk and vanilla
