I just got $6,000 for my birthday. What should I do with it to grow it in my favor? I want maximum return.

Alright guys, what do you surmise the outcome of the American election will have on stock prices? Six months from now on Inauguration Day?
I'm thinking of holding off on further investing until then.

If Clinton wins, it will be positive for the market.
The big banks love Clinton, and she brings in "more of the same" that we had under Obama.
The markets love certainty, and hate uncertainty.
so the markets will hate Trump

Hey /biz I'm not one to usually make posts I usually just lurk but lately I've been having financial issues with my job and I started selling things on eBay so I guess my questions are
- What's a good way to make more money faster?
- Is there anything that is worth buying to resell that will have a wider demand?
- And just general info from someone who has little knowledge on this stuff
>>1401615
>- What's a good way to make more money faster?
put more money buy in bulk.
make better listings.
>- Is there anything that is worth buying to resell that will have a wider demand?
nobody is going to answer this question. you have to do your own research.
>- And just general info from someone who has little knowledge on this stuff
google is your friend.
grind grind grind.
if it is easy everyone would do it
>>1401615
How much spare time, physical space and capital do you have to play with?
>>1401615
>- What's a good way to make more money faster?
Sell more volume. Which usually ties with offering lower prices.
>- Is there anything that is worth buying to resell that will have a wider demand?
Plenty. You'd have to be specific to get anything other than a useless answer.
>- And just general info from someone who has little knowledge on this stuff
See above.
Figure out what the fuck you want to know before you ask instead of wasting other peoples time as well as your own.
Hey /biz/
I'm fresh out of high school with pretty solid grades so I have a wide array of options. I'm interested in computer related subjects and I've been told I'm good at writing. I'd like to get into a field where I can freelance work from home. As it stands I'm considering web development or some sort of coding but I haven't started anything. I'm aware that this will need a portfolio, but I'm wondering about schooling. I'm not in any rush as I have parents will support me as long as I'm doing something to work towards my future.
My questions are: What would be the best area to focus on? And how should I learn? University? College? Entirely self taught? What is best from a practical standpoint? Where do I start?
I don't care too much about making a ton of money, I'd just like to be able to support myself and not be living off of instant ramen.

Enjoy minimum wage in a few years.
>but I'm wondering about schooling
A degree in *anything* or just a good portfolio and/or a referral by someone.
>>1401581
>Enjoy minimum wage in a few years.
Why? Is that exaggerated or is it actually a thing? I don't ever come to the board so I don't know the culture.
>A degree in *anything* or just a good portfolio and/or a referral by someone.
I have no prior knowledge. Are you saying self teaching is my best bet?
>>1401586
Over-saturation is no joke.
Self teaching is what I did, and I'm doing fine.

You're asking a lot more than you think you are. There's a lot of nuance to taxation and any well thought out idea is going to be 4-5 maxed-out posts long including these nuances but not the full wording that would be ordinary to prevent loop-holes. If you're looking for something vague, that's a bit different.
I'd say keep everything the way it is, but I'd specifically pay only 5% federally on everything.
It's pretty fair I think.
>>1401517
NZ's tax code arbitrarily copy/pasted into this, so obviously there are a whole load of other things to consider

hey /biz/ im in a tricky situation. I need to find a stock to pitch for this investment club in my university and I have no idea how to find one. How do I find a worthy stock?
Bonus points: A guide that can walk me through this shit. But the answer to my question is more important I really appreciate it.
MGT and due dilligence
$MACK and some pharma research
What's the legality of reprinting other peoples logos and trademarks on t-shirts? I see people on Aliexpress and eBay doing this all the time, not just Gucci shit but random car companies and shit too, is this legal ever?
No. How enforced it is another question, although ebay does have a policy of "if it's counterfeit, the buyer gets their money back and doesn't have to return the item."
>>1401879
Just slightly alter it and you're good. Or sale at a flea market
Hi, /biz/. A buddy of mine is in the consulting/recruiting business and he's looking for a way to migrate his databases and information from PC Recruiter to Salesforce. He's coming up short on finding a way to do it, so I thought I'd ask for him. I have a few questions:
1. Do you know of any apps on the Salesforce app exchange that can do something like this?
2. Do you know where we could find instructions on doing it ourselves?
3. If all else fails, do you know of any companies that provide that kind of service? If so, how much do they charge?
Thanks for the help in advance.
Not sure what PC Recruiter is, but Dataloader is a great tool for bulk uploading to SF, really easy to use

easy enough, just push every thing via REST
What do you guys think of it?
If you don't know what it is, it's an app that automatically invests money from your account(s) depending on your purchases you make.
