How to buy stocks? I mean technically what software sites are good, with low or no commissions.
>>1403384
I think Amazon has them
robinhood if you dont live in the third world, E-Toro for everyone else
How long do you give them?
>>1403375
I give them another three years
>>1403415
They will be bought out by then.
Why are they failing but Facebook is not?
>>1403375
all 5 inches amigo
So, when do you think is the right time to short this?
>>1403363
Maybe now, but cover in a week. I think some random tech company or maybe Softbank will try to acquire it soon since they've proven that they're not dead in the water. A takeover might not be possible if that would leave Nvidia or Intel as monopolies, but just the news of interest from another company would send it up another 30%.

In person, Craigslist.
How often do you neglect the shares you've invested in? Do you check it everyday?
Every day, probably 20 times throughout the day.
i neglect them when i get bored, but when im in the zone, i prolly check up on them every hour
Broke up with my girlfriend of a year and a half today and only checked my stocks three times.
Looking for sweet gainz tomorrow though.
Alright biz I'm looking for an apartment and I need some help.
me:
>m 23 atlanta
>20k debt to pay down
>make roughly 60k a year
>own my car outright
option one:
>studio
>1,100 a month
>45 minutes away from work
Option two:
>studio
>1500$
>10-15 minutes away from work
is the amount I save even worth it? I am fine with both areas but would prefer to live closely
>inb4 live with a roommate or someplace cheaper
this city is garbage, I'm just waiting to move once I pay off my debt
>>1403240

What are your experiences with identity theft protection/insurance programs?

All you need to do is freeze your credit
posted this on /x/ but no feedback
I had an idea for making mad cash off of irl wizards
>I buy someone's soul by having them sign a contract
>the bearer of the contract is the owner of the soul
>if the signor has no soul to sell he is indebted one soul to the bearer
I pay a small amount for some desperate person to sell their soul and resell at a higher price to pagans for sacrifices or someone who thinks it's cool to own another person's soul
I'll sell you my soul OP
>>1403172
srsly? how much would you need to part with your immortal soul?
>>1403173
you have the contract ready b0ss?
Years ago I went faggot and took CFA level 1. I passed, but got into depression and went back to IT workforce.
I would like to gauge, if I were to develop a financial website that:
- allows you to assess portfolio risk (variance) based on your stocks
- perform stock valuations based on metrics such as DCF, dividend, residual income etc
- general stuff such as stock quotes, graphing etc
Would u use it? Or would it be useless?
This sort of site is not going to make u beat the market anytime. It's more of a tool for helping u out on assessing your decisions. I would LOVE to beat the market.. but market is more of random noise to me now.
Or do u have suggestions on what useful thing I could implement? Such as backtesting etc?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
>>1403126
how about take the next two levels then float your resume to some banks
>>1403126
people that buy individual stocks don't care about risk
how and where do I learn to scalp the forex market?
there's people making millions in one hour.
is not fair.
>>1403114
Have you tried /biz/?
I heard people there are geniuses who have advanced understandings of business matters, such as the advanced technique of limiting the flow of chicken tendies to manchildren in order to drive demand and create an addicting monopoly thats hard to get out of.
>>1403129
You doubt the power tendies give? The energy makes you the HFT you need to be
>>1403129
>advanced understandings of business matters
I can only speak for myself, but /biz/ is where I learned that cryptocurrencies are basically risk-free, and "shorting" a stock means "holding it for a short period of time".
/biz/, do you have to pay any charge for bitcoins payments when you use the "BITCOIN CORE"? Or just alternative wallets (like multibit and electrum) charge the operation?
I forgot to mention, Bitcoin Core is the official wallet.
You pay on them all so your transaction gets confirmed in a reasonable amount of time.
>>1403127
Thank you. Is it possible to use the "Electrum" wallet without paying?
I can't afford using 80gb of HD just to use Bitcoin Core.
I just listened to Investing for Dummies 4th edition, which seems to be probably a decade old. He talks quite a bit about how money market mutual funds are way better for your savings than a bank and even have checking and such. Is this still the case? Should I dump my savings in such a mutual fund?
He also shills Vanguard at every turn, is that unbiased advice?
>>1403098
Vanguard is good because for low fee index funds. Its perfect for long-term investors, not so much for traders.
Depends on the money market fund. Honestly money market funds aren't insured like bank deposits and generally are harder to get at than a savings account. I'm Canadian so I don't know if it's different in the states.
>>1403221
A point he made about the insurance is that money market funds basically can't completely fail and the only instance where it happened was one that was a collusion between businesses.
Who has the right to make and draft formal business contracts?
Can one just print out any contract one needs?
>>1403094
in most cases its lawyers and licensed pros
>>1403094
Everyone and yes.
T. A Lawyer
>>1403094
Everyone can in theory
Best to leave it to lawyers though as they know what's actually an enforceable and legal contract
how are my bitcoin holders doing?
>>1403082

TRUMPCOIN TO $1 BY THIS WEEKEND
>>1403087
