Why couldn't fans inspire to be The Rock or Stone Cold or any other top star than has a defined character with top notch promo ability?

And the most important question of all, can Professional Wrestling still be saved? or are we too far gone?

As noted earlier, it just came out that injured WWE Superstar Paige was with boyfriend Alberto Del Rio in San Antonio this past weekend when he was allegedly stabbed by a man, causing him to miss Sunday's AAA event. Paige reportedly got involved when Del Rio and the man ended up on the ground, was thrown to the ground by the man. One report has the man escaping in his car when Del Rio went to check on Paige. The confrontation reportedly started after a minor car accident between he and Del Rio in the parking lot. They had words, the man pulled a knife and when Del Rio went to leave, the man attacked him.

>Original reports on the incident did not mention Paige being there but that detail was just revealed in the last 24 hours. Del Rio's original statement did not mention Paige and did not mention a car.

> The Record in Mexico, who spoke with Del Rio, says Paige and Del Rio were actually attacked by a "drunken homeless man" in the parking lot of a restaurant. Their story is along the lines of the other accounts but they claim the man left on foot when Del Rio went to check on Paige after she was assaulted.

> Furthermore, the issues surrounding speculation on what actually happened and what the San Antonio Police are saying continue. According to PWInsider, the San Antonio Police Department has just one stabbing in their jurisdiction on October 2nd and Del Rio is not listed as the victim. There are several smaller municipalities within the city that are not in their jurisdiction, plus the Bexar County Sheriff's Office. The SAPD needs an exact location of the incident to release more details, if there are any.

Anyone else not understand John Cena?

Like, come come all he has to do is wave his hand infront of his face, and then people cant see him? Surely if this were the case he wouldn't appear on camera and the WWE would have a nightmare filming him. If I were Vince and a wrestler came up to me and said he wanted to join up but he would do all the fighting whilst invisible I'd tell him to fuck off because its probably just some chode excuse to slack off the job.

> Bill Goldberg's ESPN SportsCenter interview came with no announcement on his WWE return last night. Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter insists the match is still scheduled for the Survivor Series pay-per-view on November 20th, unless plans have fallen apart. As of Tuesday, the match was considered to be confirmed and locked in. As noted, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross also reported this week that his reliable source relayed the same information.

> The story is that Vince McMahon has had the match scheduled but has not been very gung-ho about doing it. It was also noted that while WWE is ready to use Goldberg once again, there are still a lot of negative feelings and politics(*cough* Haitch *cough*) regarding him.

> There are several reasons for doing the match at Survivor Series. WWE wants to do the match to help promote the WWE 2K17 video game and Survivor Series is the best option for that plan.

> Also, future opponents for Lesnar are said to be locked in and apparently one of those opponents is Shane McMahon, perhaps for WrestleMania 33. WWE officials were not willing to change Lesnar's WrestleMania plans for Goldberg.

> Regarding the Lesnar vs. Goldberg match, this is reportedly a one-off that is not leading to any kind of future rematch between the two.

> There's a lot of speculation on the alleged Alberto Del Rio stabbing incident over the weekend in San Antonio, Texas. As noted via MLW Radio, Del Rio was stabbed several times by a man on Saturday after the man hit Del Rio's car with his own car by accident. The two drivers exited their vehicles and had words, leading to the man pulling a knife. Del Rio reportedly turned to leave, as he had to catch a flight to Mexico for Sunday's AAA show that he missed, but the man slashed him from behind. They ended up on the ground and Del Rio got the knife away from the man but he fled in his vehicle. Reports from Del Rio and MLW Radio were that witnesses saw the attack and got the man's license plate, police were called and a report was filed.

> According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio and Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, the San Antonio Police have no record of the alleged attack involving a high-profile celebrity. Meltzer says the local police aren't saying the incident did not happen but they apparently don't know about it.

> Another interesting twist to the story is Del Rio's girlfriend Paige. The report from MLW Radio did not mention the injured WWE Superstar being there but one account Del Rio gave Mexican media did. Meltzer was also relayed a story that mentioned Paige being there. Word is that while Del Rio and the man went to the ground with the man still stabbing Del Rio, she got involved and was thrown by the suspect. Del Rio went to check on her and that is when the man got away in his own car.

> Paige being there also raises suspicion on Del Rio's claim that he could not contact AAA until Monday morning because he lost his phone during the incident as Paige was with him and would have had a phone to use to at least start the process of notifying AAA.
