Hi, first time posting, I have mutliple fish tanks, the one in question has been settled 3 years, however in past week I have lost multiple fish, all different species and sizes but mainly the older fish, they all seem to start swimming upside down asif their swim bladder has an issue, resting upside down, with the ability to still swim yet they just lue there upside down. They die about 2 days after they start swimming upside down. my feed, water changes are same for all tanks...one fish has literally just died in the time I wrote this, any ideas? Pic related

I need some advice on cats right now, well I'm not a big fans of cats myself, but I started to like those little fuckers thanks to my gf, we even adopted a 3 months kitty. Anyways:
>My gf had a cat before we got our little kitty, her name is Mandy, she is 1 and a half years old and she isn't very sociable, she sleeps something like 3 nights per week outside and all the other days with me and my gf inside, well on Thursday 31th we went out and slept outside, so Mandy had to sleep outside for 2 days (first time she spent so many time without seeing us, we usually see her during the day and afternoons) and today she disappeared, she didn't eat her food and there is no trace of her on our garden. Well I wanted to know if she is gonna come back, and how many days is "normal" for a cat to be outside its house, this never happened before so we are kinda worried

Cats should allways be kept indoors at night and when you aren't around, unless you have a catflap that lets them come and go as they please. Chances are a neighbour with more time to look after her has been feeding her and letting her in, she probably just thought "fuck it" since you don't seem to really bother with her and is living with them. Cats aren't stupid, they know a better deal when they see one. Try putting up missing cat posters, ask around the neighbourhood and check local shelters. If you do find her again, make sure you spend more time trying to socialise with her, and don't leave her outside for days at a time.

Two bugs like this one have been flying around my room. They are named Gustapo and Hernandez. The one you see here is Hernandez. He is finished, and soon to be burned next to his brother as soon as I capture him. My question is, the fuck are these?

So this might just be venting but me and my bf broke up and I'm crashing at the parents with my almost dead grandma while finding roomates. She's like 95.

I'm taking care of an old poodle for like $200 and it's been cowering if someone comes near it.

My grandma ALWAYS hated animals. Like she goes out of her way to hit them with a cane. I just want to scream at her and slap her. Even when she was young she just saw animals as annoying garbage. She also has been a huge cunt in general her whole life to people as well.

My mom is like noooo...she's old now she's allowed to be a cunt cuz she's senile but that's not old age. She just always liked to bully animals or get away with hitting them for no reason.

I should beat her to death with her own cane.

Catch your Cat, and take a Hawk bell, or the like: then tie a thred to the bell; and about half an inch from the bell, tie a knot: then binde it fast to the end of her tail, and let her loose; whereby you shall see pretty sport.

Also you may take Walnut-shells, when the kernels are out, and put therein a lit∣tle rum of Pitch, and warm them against the fire: then shooe her on all her four feet: Then put her into a dark room, and she will never rest quiet, but keep her self so trampling, that the noise thereof, to those that onely hear, not knowing what you have done, will seem strange, and indeed dellectable.

How to make a Cat to piss out the fire.

Take a Cat and, with a glove on your hand, hold all her four feet together: then hold her head fast between your leggs: when you have so done, go to the fire, and hold up her tail, and you shall see her spout forth presently.

How a Wager may be laid, that a Cat shall draw a simple fellow over a Pond, Moat, etc.

Take a long Rope, and tie it about the fellows middle very fast: then get the other end of the Rope on the other side of the Pond: when you have so done, tie the Cat with a small Packthred to the Rope. Now you must imagine, that the Rope must reach a good way from the Cat, and put it thorow some bushes or weeds, behinde which you must have two or three Confederates, (so that the fellow see them not.) Then, when all is ready, one must whip or beat the Cat, and then your Consorts must pull the Rope quickly over: and when he is come to the shore, they may convey themselves away; for he will have small minde to eye them.

Dog got a hotspot out of nowhere and he's never had one before.

I put an e-collar on him to keep him from irritating it more until we got to the vet (tomorrow morning was the earliest they could get us in), but he showed me while I was on the phone with said vet that he can easily maneuver around it.

Wondering 1) what caused the hotspot and 2) what I can do to keep him from fucking with it more until tomorrow.

Unfortunately I'm pretty ill right now and I don't have the strength to take him out on a walk to tire him out and keep him from licking. I live alone. I put some topical hotspot stuff on his spot, but from what I've heard most OTC stuff for dogs is pretty useless. Possible causes in the next post...

I think I've narrowed it down to a food allergy or stress. At the beginning of December I switched him from Science Diet to Taste of the Wild puppy food with salmon as its main protein. He's had salmon treats before. It was a rocky start even though we did a gradual switch, but by now his poop is normal and he looks and acts great. However, I know that dogs (especially goldens) can easily develop allergies to proteins they've already been exposed to no matter how long they've been eating it.

On the other hand, my mom, sister, and 8 year old brother came to visit me. All of them stayed crammed in my 1-person apartment (and left it like a pigsty). My brother teased my dog any chance he could--pretending to hold treats, nagging him to do tricks, hugging him, holding his hands above his head and yelling, etc. He started licking his paw the night before they left, but I didn't think anything of it. I found the hotspot the morning after they left.

He is licking his other paws, but he stops when I notice and tell him to knock it off. Otherwise he's been acting normally. Very playful, eats normally, not lethargic, etc.

Obviously there could be a totally different reason why he's licked himself like this and those are just the two most obvious things that stick out to me. Mostly I want to know how to keep it from getting worse until I get to the vet tomorrow.

Currently I'm distracting him with a huge rawhide chew, but I don't like him having rawhide so I'm forcing him to take frequent breaks throughout the day.

No its about a dog Emma that was adopted from Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehab (SNARR) and was born with severe paralysis in her back legs. Emma has had several wheelchairs. Unfortunately, she refuses to use any of them. We have had custom ones made even she’s always been this way. Emma has no idea she’s ‘special.

But the inability to use her hind legs has never slowed Emma down — especially when it comes to showing some love for her dad.

Adopt a polydactyl from the same region. They just run around on the museum grounds, so chances are their genes have spread pretty far.

to narrow down diagnosis, without seeing the plant itself, we need all the info you can give.

light exposure, watering schedule, relocation, etc etc anything relevant.
>>
>>2027454
but on a different note, the most common mistake for succulent care is over/under watering.

Overwatering can lead to rot (kinda resembles your plant). Underwatering the plant will wrinkle the plant, or whither in a more obvious way.

How do I know if my dog in far sighted, or just not particularly smart?

I adopted a new dog. I've seen him watch and track squirrels from afar.

When I give him something up close even as large as a dog bowl or a bone, say if he sees it in my hand and I place it behind him, he'll lose track of it, search my hands and start smelling his way to it. He loses track of it and it genuinely takes him awhile to figure out where it is.

I'm okay with him being a lovable dum-dum. He seems to know what glass doors are, but he acts as if he's skeptical about the fact that they always stop physical objects from passing through, or maybe he just can't see them. Maybe he just believes glass only exists if you believe in it.

He also seems very awkward on stairs, like he's checking each step. He was a stray for awhile so maybe he just isn't used to house hold terrain?

We he's running he can leap over an entire bench with ease.

Give your dum dum some time. I thought the shepherd mix bf adopted was retarded, but after 10 months of having him he's finally letting loose catching on to chasing squirrels and geese (partially my fault since I run after them just to see them fly). He hated stairs when we lived in our last apt, our new apt has none and he fucking loves it. Take him for hikes and see how he does there. I'm pretty sure your vet can do an eye exam if you're actually worried about it. Just sounds like he's getting to know his surroundings/territory.
