Okay, so, I've been researching walruses to make sure I'm ready for an upcoming game, but I've been completely unable to find the answer to a question.
Do walrus tusks grow back if broken or lost?
I've searched, but pretty much any actual answer comes uncited from some shithead on Yahoo or something. Any other walrus facts are more than welcome, too.

From what I read, it's a little of column A and column B.
If they outright loose a tusk at the root, that's it, shit's gone forever.
On the other hand, if it's just partially broken, it'll continue to grow from the root as normal. The end will still be fucked up of course, since tusks, like hair, grow from the root.

That doesn't mean the tooth is growing back. If a juvenile walrus breaks a tooth, it will continue to grow to its adult size. If an adult breaks a tooth nothing happens.

Can anyone identify this lizard?
I live in Brisbane, Australia. It seemed to be a baby. It was slow moving and had soft, pinkish scales around the neck. It also had a blue tongue but was completely brown and white any stripes.

Considering feeding my dog a raw food diet. Need advice to not potentially kill my dog with either bacterial infection or eating to much organ meat. Not looking to go overboard initially like buying a meat grinder etc.

This, please OP. Even if you don't kill your dog, you could very easily deprive him of vitamins/minerals, or give him too much of something that could cause issues in later years.
If you want to go raw, please get a pre-packed, tested to have the right amounts of nutrition, raw diet from a pet shop or feed store.

The other day I found a rainbow lorikeet on the road. It was hurt or something. Few chest feathers message, little bit around the neck. I think it was tame or owned by someone before because it climbed up my arm and only my shoulder almost instantly. I got a decent sized cage, wet foot, dry food, a bell, a fruit hanger thing and some water for it. Is there anything I should know about lorikeets that isn't immediately obvious? I used to have a budgie when I was younger. His name was Tommy. He shit on my easter egg once.

Well, you tried.
This is my dog. He is 13 years old and he's been given about a month to live. I have been taking pictures of him for the past 10 years, dressed up and in different locations in the U.S. This year he can hardly move and I would love to make a calendar of him at different places all over the world. I don't have photoshop, so if anyone with experience can help photoshop him in front of different landmarks all over the world that would be greatly appreciated. This will probably be his last calendar, so I want it to be awesome. Thank you

My dog keeps scratching the base of her tail. Whenever there is something she can stand under and use to scratch herself, like for example the pull-out footrest of a couch, she will make full use of it. Sometimes when she does it she whimpers... I'm going to take her to the vet but what do you think it is? Normal behaviour or something else? She is a parson jack russel and 12 years old btw

Hate them, love them, don't care but let others get them? Some countries out right ban them like the UK.
Should GM animals that were created for research like gfp axolotls be available to the general public?
Should GMOs created solely for pets be permitted at all? (i.e. most of the glofish)
Should GMOs only be allowed for practical purposes like crop yields and environmentalism?
Personally I prefer a natural tank but I think glofish should be permitted and they can look quite nice if you embrace the colors.
