I leave them together but I'm not worried about them killing each other. The cat will kill smaller dogs but he leaves things bigger than him alone. The dog is a scared, submissive baby to the cat so he wouldn't attack either.

Only done it one time with one dog that I completely trusted, otherwise no.

I have a dog, 2 cats, and 6 birds (a cockatiel and 5 diamond doves), and I'll leave them home alone because the dog isn't violent at all. She had her puppies taken before she was mine, so she thinks the cats are her own and tries to nurse them. I don't worry about the cats because the cats are actually afraid of birds, so it all works out.

How do you plan to befriend them? I love crows OP I wish you luck

I recently got my first spiderling and am trying to keep it alive. Looking forward to the next molt so I can try to sex it. Anyone own any cool inverts? Thinking a big centipede would be cool.
Also taking name suggestions, it's a GBB, c. cyanopubescens

2 things here:

1. Some tap water has chlorine, this goes away by itself if you let the water sit for a while. Other tap water has chloramine, chlorine bonded to ammonia, this absolutely needs a water dechlorinator to get rid of.

2. You need to cycle the tank before putting fish in it, or the fish will die of ammonia poisoning.

Definitely get conditioner, ammonia in the water is bad for fish. Get a live plant in their too, it absorbs that and other bad stuff.

I don't even know what "conditioning salts" are. You do need dechlorinating solution. You don't need "some pH balancing thing" unless your tap water has a funny pH.

I think by this point the chlorine will have evaporated. You still need to dechlorinate water that you add to the tank.

Slow down there. It sounds like you're on the way to overstocked. And I can't think of a species of loach that is suitable for a 10 gallon. Loaches, tetras and rasboras are both going to want to be in groups of at least 5~6. I would pick either tetras or rasboras.

Shrimp are detritivores you don't need a bottom dwelling fish. I would get a few more neon tetras.

Glass catfish are kind of pansies, so be mindful when choosing tankmates. Give them plenty of cover and keep an eye on your water parameters too.

Be careful it doesn't get to humid, mold can develop.
Vaseline don't work 100%.
Tropical woodlice seem to do better and don't escape as easily.
Coconut substrate does better and is cleaner.
Bark is good but I've found the favourite is always egg cartons.
Moss generally does okay.

Would the dominoes still be able to burrow around in coconut fiber? I suppose it wouldn't be too hard to gather dead leaves for them myself, though.
Interesting. Egg cartons give them more places to hide per square inch, so I can see that.

I was planning on getting dominoes because they were the most attractive roach I could find, honestly. The feeders I raised were just little Turkistan guys, and while they worked great for food, they weren't really much to look at. So, for actual pet roaches, I figured something more attractive would be best. Is there a reason why another species would be better?

Depends on the amount of mold you think you're at risk of. If you think there's going to be a lot then go for springtails but woodlice are easier.
If you're not trying to get them to breed lots the humidity doesn't need to be as high either.
Coconut fiber is pretty easy for them to burrow into.
Depends if you want a colony of roaches or just a few individuals. The bigger the roach the slower they tend to be and the longer they tend to live so they make better pets.
I find the question mark version of domino roaches to be prettier than the normal spotty ones.
But my favourite pet roach species are the halloween hissers (javanica) big, slow and more colourful than the standard hisser.
It depends what you can get hold of though.

Dermestid beetles are the best way, period. Of you're gonna get into the hobby then dermestid beetles are definitely a good idea.

Then i soaked it in normal peroxide for like 3 weeks. Then i went and pulled off any fats i could see gave it a good rinse and then super glued the teeth back in and drilled tiny holes in the jaw and tied it with fishing line.

Givee a second i can take a picture of the skull. Most people think its fake or one i bought from a shop.

My sister regrets ever going.

The movie might be a crock of shit but Orcas should not be kept in captivity on principle.
