hares are a pest, you're not supposed to do anything.
>>
>>2148861
give it water, maybe a snack like a slice of banana

take it to a vet or a wildlife center

>>2148863
you don't even know where they are, m8, could be a native species
>>
>>2148864
native hares are often invasive.

Is there a rule of thumb for watering indoor potted plants?

E.g., a little bit everyday, or a bunch every week, or when the first 1" is dry, etc.

I'm new to indoor growing, and the soil always seems to stay wet longer than outdoors (because of less sun, drainage)

I would like to know this as well. I am not good with plants and would love if there was some sort of physical indication of when to water them. All I know is the soil should be moist but not soppy after watering.
>>
>>2148242
It depends on the plant. I suggest going to the /homegrown/ thread on /out/. Most of the growing discussion on /an/ moved there.

Can anyone ID this specie of plant?
Someone gave them to me unexpectedly which is why they are in cups, but I will rehome them into proper pots ASAP. They did not know the specie, So I am not exactly sure what care they need.

Elephant ears, Alocasia. Not sure which specific variety. They'll get big.

Someone told me elephant ears but when I looked them up they were huge, and a lot of different types came up.

Who would win in a 1 on 1 fight, a lion or a silverback gorilla?
35 posts and 8 images submitted.

Is this a joke? The gorilla. A lion can't kill shit with even a slight degree of defensive capability.
>>
>>2147796
The silverback lion, it's OP as fuck.
>>
>>2147796
Are you joking? How is this even a competition? Even if the lion ambushed the gorilla the gorilla simply swings its arm at the lion and shatters its bones.

So I just adopted a cat from a local shelter, about to go out for supplies, how big a cage do you think I'll need for this thing to start out? Last pet I got died because the enclosure I kept it in was too small, so I don't want to take any chances here.

Next time flush.

looks like a baby wren its third eyelid is across its eye, it is likely hypodermic. warm and dry it and go to the pet store and get insects to grind and mix with water to feed it get a eyedropper to feed it with and some eye drops. if the toilet had chemical cleaner in it its eyes are probably irritated too.

I don't understand /an/

Guys I have a problem. I have almost 50+ baby fulica running around.

I've kept snails for over ten years and I have NEVER had this happen.
Whenever my gals have eggs I carefully remove the eggs, place them in a tub and stick them in the freezer for at least 48hrs then put the unhatched eggs out for the birds. I generally catch the eggs within 24hrs of being laid.

Well this time I popped them in the freezer for just over two days, grabbed them out and left them on the side to defrost before I put them out for the birds and forgot about them for a few weeks due to other life stresses.

Today half of them had hatched. They had frost on them when they came out my freezer and now they're sticking tiny eyeballs out everywhere. What the actual fuck is going on and what do I do with them?!

this is my skunk! he was an orphan and I want to know where to start. We're taking him to the vet tomorrow. I read online about skunk diets and I will not allow my baby to get diabetes.
we're not de-scenting him either because we have to give him back to nature.

Then don't raise him. Also it's old enough to be on its own. Young skunks are just oddly friendly.
>>
>>2148666
he weighs less than a pound. He weighs like half as much as my pet rat. Is he really old enough to be on his own?
>>
>>2148671
The way he's laying with his head down and paw curved by it is exactly how my cat laid when he was critically low on potassium and collapsed. If he's that light weight he's probably very lacking in something, so he should get checked out. My cat lost 25% of his body weight over a day during the aforementioned collapse.
