are malinois a good pet? I have a blue heeler so the exercise demands i'll be used to. are they affectionate or all about working?
>>2145066
Belgian Malinois are not pets. They're working dogs.
>>2145066
If you're going to get a mal make sure you have a very high fence.
They're very intense working dogs. It's not just exercise they need, but a LOT of mental stimulation.
If you enjoy training/work games with your dog, they could be a good pet so long as you know what you're doing and can handle the intensity.
What breed of cat is this?
jemina
That's a dog you fucking idiot
That's sour cream you retard

hmm. bit hard to tel from the one angle, but looking at:
>broad face
>longish snout
>short legs
>stocky body
>med size droopy ears
i would say that's a doggo. fun trick you can try, every time you come home and see him/her, loudly shout:
>HELLO DOGGO
and watch how excited they get.
Hey /an/.
Tell me about your beetle bros, whether they're something you just found outside or you keep them as pets.
To start I found an ivory marked longhorn borer in my pool patio today and I carried him over to a tree so he wouldn't drown, but it got me thinking about keeping him. Is it possible? I've googled the species a bit but no one seems to keep them compared to the typical stags and other big beetles.
Borer bro
People don't really like them, but I think they're cool.
Been wanting to get into beetle breeding but it seems pretty inclusive and I'm having trouble figuring out how to even get started.

Why does my cat purr, cuddle up to me, then bite me when I pet him? Then run away and repeat
>>2147103
You are overstimulating him.
Sauce friend
Can we brainstorm some possible breeds for my family, grew up with Dobermans. Im looking for a companion/family guardian that isnt so neurotic and will go out in the rain. I take my dogs to proffesional obedience and they go to a training/dog daycare twice a week so any breed is a possiblity, I want my wife and children to feel secure when I am not around if I have to work late, we live on approx 1/4 acre. I am already leaning towards a Cane Corso.

just get a golden senpai

No thanks.

Why are you still feeding raw bones, /an/?
>nb4 m-muh clean teeth!
That's what a toothbrush and yearly cleanings are for.
>>2146881
Because my dog enjoys them. Why would a powerfull carnivore not be able to handle chewing on a bone?
I also give him green tripe, do you also have a problem with that?
>>2146924
Plenty wolves and dogs and coyotes die from internal bleeding because of bone shards, m80.
>>2146997
The, I still give chicken wing bones when I am done. No prob yet.

Are any of you vegans here? If so, what made you go vegan and how long have you been vegan?
I've been vegan over 6 years and went vegan because of this: http://theradicalvegan.tumblr.com/animals
https://youtu.be/9cJAUdYKnp4
I don't understand going vegan just because of factory farming cruelty.
I mean, there are pretty humane meat sources out there if you don't mind doing a little research and paying a bit more.
I eat meat, but mostly avoid anything but fish and sometimes chicken. Just out of personal diet preference. As soon as I move I'm intending to raise chickens for eggs and stuff because they taste better and fuck most egg farms.
>>2145760
Pls respond. I'm incredibly lonely right now and need vegans to talk to.
It's copper-ish with some darker brown areas on its wing. The tips of its wing have some brown dots on them. It was found in northern Ireland in my tea-bags. It's about medium sized

The only thing that separates mankind from other animals is our minds, and that is only if we use them correctly. For the first time in mankind's history we can Know the truth as it relates to conscious life. The truth is stranger than fiction but it is the real truth that will set you free from the animal realm from which we all evolved.
A man should look for what is and not for what he thinks should be.
Albert Einstein
Truth you can check: It is as matter of fact as the ground and as useful as food. It's the kind of truth that can make hate and war as unnecessary as ignorance.
Charles Darwin revealed how evolution works, but not what it really means.
Evolution is no longer just a theory; it has been proven true beyond a reasonable doubt. The problem is, even people who believe evolution is true disassociate themselves from the process. They somehow skipped all the lower forms of animal life and just started out at the top of the evolutionary ladder.
The evidence says we evolved as life evolved.
Human beings did not just appear at the top of the evolutionary ladder to reap the benefits of those millions of years of evolution without having to live through it.
In other words, you were those other animals. Someone had to be them.
You had to be lower animals to be a human now. You lived as all the different animals in your evolutionary line. You lived through millions of years, and millions of lives and deaths to get to where you are now. That's what Darwin's book means.
In addition to the fossil evidence, the genetic code proves that all animals, including us, evolved from bacteria over the last 700 million years on earth.
did you just finish your psychology 101 classes or something?
In other words, you were a microbe, an insect, a fish, a dinosaur, an ape...
When all of the evidence (100%) says something happened, and there is no evidence (zero) that anything else could have happened, it is the truth beyond a reasonable doubt to honest, rational people.
We have come a very, very long way, but we have a little further to go. The next and last step in our evolution is learning and accepting the truth of life, and this includes acknowledging our true past.
The truth will free us from the animal world we all evolved from.
