Go for it. STI's really aren't that big of a deal in the first place. For example 90 percent of the population has some form of herpes and 4/5 of them don't even notice. Using a condom will most likely keep you safe and if it doesn't most things are easily curable. My advice would be to pick a website more geared to dating than sex though and build up your connection with the person a little before hand.

as a guy who's in school with a previous medical history of depression and anxiety would it be difficult to obtain an adderall prescription from a psychiatrist? I did manage to flunk a class my last quarter if that counts for anything, was just curious if anyone's had experience obtaining a prescription for otherwise unrelated reasons

Adderall is medication *strictly* for ADD, which is essentially a word for a cluster of symptoms: inability to focus for a prolonged period of time, if at all, excessive energy/can't sit still, etc.
You can't go to the doctor's office to tell them that you flunked a class and are expecting to get an addy prescription from them. They want to give you the drug-- it's how they get paid-- provided that you show them the symptoms.
So, look up the symptoms of ADD. If you have trouble focusing, etc. then go tell the doctor the truth. If you don't actually feel like you have any of the symptoms, then you might reconsider taking the drug. Addy isn't some miracle drug that is going to magically fix your depression and grades. The anxiety and paranoia that amphetamines are so notorious for might just exacerbate your depression, or, the speedy high might just act as an antidepressant, but not necessarily a focus aid.
Not trying to be your dad, just trying to give you some honest advice as an experienced user of the drug.

I need to get out of my parents house as I can't really take living there anymore, and my best way of doing that would to go to an an out of state university. Okay /adv/ so yesterday I broke up with my girlfriend. 2 years together. We're both young her 19 and me 20. The reason I ended it is because she had no initiative to do anything in her life. I would push her tell her she was smart but she was just too beaten down by her parents always putting her down and saying she'll never accomplish anything. A friend of mine was wrongly diagnosed and took it for a few weeks (3mg). It did sedate him, was very hungry, and blurred his vision.
I don't ever want to discourage a medication that you may need to function, but there are some nasty long term side effects with this Ned like diabetes.
I would try to talk to your doctor about a med with less side effects. You can also try the drug yourself for awhile to get you through whatever's going on. Just remember this drug needs to be tapered off

Just ask dude. If she has nothing to hide she'll be completely honest and you can trust her again. If you ask and things go well and she's open with you, but if you still can't trust her, then ask to see some of their messages. But ask her so she can show you straight away, and so you can read them in front of her as soon as you ask. That way she won't have a chance to delete anything in case there is anything suss.
