You can't be enrolled in a Bachelors and a Masters at the same time. If you finish midway through next year, depending on how you're doing your masters, you might be able to start right away or you might have to wait until the following year

As a severely depressed person, here are some tips:
> don't imply you know what your friend is going through unless you've dealt with a severe depression yourself
> Let him know that he can always talk to you if he feels like letting his worries out
> If he does, let him do the talking. Don't interfere, don't judge, don't rush him
> Don't try to give advice unless he specifically asks for it or seems open to it.

> Don't think you're bothering him because you're always the one initiating the conversation. If he really didn't want to talk, he'd ignore you.

To an extent, yes, you can change it. Just don't do known high-risk shit like playing in traffic or huffing bleach and you'll be fine.

Do something you wouldn't normally do, and where the outcome is unknown, rather than stuff you know for a fact is just a dumb, bad decision. The first is exciting; the second will just leave you hating yourself in the morning.

If you don't know where to start, just pick something. If you're anal retentive like me and really can't pick something, make a mental 1-10 "dangerousness" scale with 1 being where you are and 10 being, idk, stealing an armoured car or something. Then do something that you'd consider to be a 2. Then maybe next week try a 3 or a 4.

There's a lot to be said for playing things safe most of the time - for one thing, it sure helps cushion the fall if you do take a risk and it goes bad on you. But there's a lot to be said for just saying "fuck it" and going for it.

You need to look within and ask yourself if you are in any position to really be a companion to another in your current state of mind. The issues that you don't work out amongst yourself will carry over into the relationship... sometimes for the bad and sometimes for the good.
