And dropped. I hate that Optimus prime ripoff thing entirely too much.
Finally finished it, and let's be honest Old Hunters was kinda meh compared to The Ringed City
:D
Sure thing kiddo
Um........... lol, no.
Why don't people play Arcade games anymore?
I like being home
because we have systems just as or more powerful at home
Bought this game all its dlcs when it was on sale. Haven't got around to playing it yet. Is it worth my time?
Your time is worthless so yeah, go for it.
>>378844438
This game is tedious, you'll either die during night time or get bored
>>378844438
It's fun for a short while, but gets very irritating frankly. Restarting everything takes longer than it should, and a lot of stuff can just one shot you ruining your progress
Those forced "2D" sections are pure fucking cancer.
So glad I pirated that piece of trash
>2D
The fuck are you talking about? The only 2D things in the game are the menus, some sprites and A2's tits.
git gud
how do I win this game?
Not playing it
Not playing it.
ghost o' grandpa comes by at the end of year 2 and gives you a score. it's not the end of the game and doesn't really matter in any way, but if you want a win condition, then max out that score and pat yourself on the back
Why are today's games focusing on resolution and framerate when they could be focusing on shit that actually matters, like physics?
>>378844245
that will be relevant after inevitable vidya market stagnation/crash
>>378844245
When they will figure out that throwing 20 million assets in a level and a guy with a gun that can only damage 3 of them is not enough.
Cause the facsimile of real physics we have now is good enough.
In about 1h I'll head to Ubisoft headquarters for a job interview in the management team. I'll ask them one question you'll ask me before and I'll deliver the answer to you guys.
Shoot
>I really want the job so please be kind with me
bumping
>"Tell me about Bane! Why does he wear the mask?"
Nobody ?
What degree should I aim for if I want to develop video games in the future?
Medicine, so people who make games can live longer
You don't really need any specific degree unless you want to be some minor cog in a 1000 man team working for Ubisoft or EA or some shitty job like that.
Having made a game and having sold a game is going to get you a job in a way no degree or minor industry experience will. If you can point to X indie game on steam that sold 10,000 copies and say I made that, basically anyone will hire you.
Saying I have a computer science degree with experience with C++ and Java and I worked as a tester for Activision for 3 years will get you laughed out of the building.
>>378844163
Probably CS if you're really dead set on a degree, but the best way to learn to make videogames is to make videogames. Any sort of CS or math you don't know youll learn along the way as you encounter obstacles requiring those skills.
He looks like a cool dude.
/pol/ going nuclear about MUH LIBTARD PROPAGANDA while also screaming about free speech in 3... 2...
/pol/ here, looks fun
>>378844442
I don't understand. What is /pol/ mad about? He looks like a cool dude.
What am I in for ?
A nicely crafted world/aesthetic that is unfortunately ruined by linearity with d-list anime characters and Japanese dad jokes. Whenever you tell yourself you officially hit rock bottom with X, play a little of X-2 to remind yourself that you still haven't quite reached the last circle of hell yet.

With the right kind of eyes you can see the high water mark. The place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.
Everything wrong with subsequent versions [13,15 etc.] is wrong with 10. It's kind of depressing to play through.
The best level up and job system in any JRPG ever with an amazing story depicting the horrors of religious fanaticism
What are the odds of AC Switch getting announced at e3, /v/? I would literally screamWild World > New Leaf
>>378843994
Would make the switch an instant purchase for me, that + zelda + splatoon 2 would = based console for me
I think the mobile app/game is coming first.
Lets see
>>378843994
Animal crossing is one of the Nintendo games I've never actually played. What's it about? I hear it's comfy
what went wrong?
>>378843919
Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft all had superior consoles.
the controller and trying to tell everyone that taxi game was cool
>>378843919
Shitty distribution
Shitty marketing
No DVD player normie bait
Ultimately no gaems
That's about it.
Why is video game development so expensive?
Why does it take $20M/year for like 10 man studios
>Salary 10x75k, 750,000
>Rent, house big enough to hold 10 desks, 250/week, 12,5000
>10 computers, 20,000
shit man, you're really on to something here
the only reason video games are so expensive to make is because they haven't let you take a crack it, i guess
>10 man studios
my man, every AAA developer consists of at least a hundred employees working on a single project, sometimes several hundreds
>GTAV had far over 1000 people work on it
>>378844086
Not to mention all the outsourcing and marketing garbage going on.
Are you hyped for this afternoon?
>>378843501
fuck I typo'd
>>378843525
first post blest post
>>378843501
Hyped for a bunch of games I wont play?
