Basically what im asking is what Caribbean island would you reccomend? Budget is around 2k. Nightlife doesnt matter than much in fact somewhere sleepy and secluded like Martinique would be great.

Hi,
I'm planning on moving to Australia. I've wasted my work&travel-visa on an internship. So I was wondering - are there any other legal ways to sustain yourself abroad, as some kind of freelancer or sth like that? Thanks in advance
>>1271139
You need a visa if you want to work legally, otherwise you'll be doing cash-in-hand stuff for shady bosses.
>>1271139
I'm unsure of the legal processes required in order to work in Australia as a freelancer. I probably should know as I'm Aussie and am a freelancer. What type of work do you do?
>>1271139
do not try and come to australia illegally, you will be placed into a camp to concentrate on your mistakes.
and dont ask on some random board how to do it, look at the australian government immigration websites. if you do a job on the shortage list, there is a change (a small chance) that you'll be able to get a job in australia.
the visa process can be quite expensive and long, and generally impossible without sponsorship.
unless you are fucking exceptional, you wont be working in australia as a freelancer.
I'm a brit that's 6'6 or 199cm tall
what would happen to me in East Asia or SEA region? How fascinated would the locals be with my height? Would I really get randomers asking to take pictures with me all the time?
Not a weeb but I'm curious about this although it puts me off going there as I wouldn't like people always in my face everywhere I turn
I've been travelling around Europe and America and my height often works as a good conversation starter but not too much of a big deal
>>1271108
I'm 6'6" and went to Tokyo last summer. Got a lot of people staring at me. That's it. Always had to duck onto the train. Doorways and low-hanging signs were an issue, too.
Overhyped Travelling destinations thread.
Gotta start with paris. Beautiful city but still SO FUCKING OVERHYPED.
pic unrelated
India. It's just a shithole, with none of the good qualities that shitholes usually have. Every 3rd world shithole I have been to has had its own kind of charm. India is the only one I've been to with none.
Sup naggers, I'm flying solo in Houston and wondering what fun shit there is to do. Any good bars for a solo guy looking to pick up? I'm not much into the club scene. The girls on Tinder here are fucking disgusting. I think I've right-swiped about 5 so far.
>>1270991
Im about to move out of houston, it fucking sucks here, weather is amazing 3 out of the 12 months of summer all year, humidity is never below 60% and theres too many niggers it takes at least 1:30 hours of driving to get anywhere. godspeed brother, im moving to Alb, New Mexico
What were some of the best meals you've eaten during your travels? Tell us about it.
Has anyone here rented a car in Asia or more specifically Thailand? I'm going to Chiang Mai and want to see the mountains without needing a tour group. Is this recommended? How difficult is it to adjust to driving on the left side of the road? I don't plan on driving in Bangkok, just northern Thailand.
just rent a motorbike, much easier to ride in the heavy traffic
>>1270968
Australian here so left hand is natural for me, but I go to the states regularly and find no trouble moving over.
Rent a Forunner and you should be fine, Bangkok actually has a massive highway and over pass system. Never driven in Thailand before and got a car, drove to Pattaya and back to Bangkok city central several times and this is when shutdown bangkok was on. You'll be fine if your a confident and comfortable driver.
i'm mainly interested in picking up korean girls. i'm white and pretty good at korean. if anyones interested lmk in the thread and we can exchange kakao
It's better to ride solo instead of "teaming up" unless it's one Korean dude and a white guy as the Korean wingman. Rolling with Multi white dudes always gave me inferior results versus riding solo.
I am looking for a place to go for vacation this summer and I have my heart set on Europe. Where can I go and meet beautiful women without being subjected to Muslims or African migrants?
>>1270792
Nowhere, really. Anywhere you go in Europe the women will be getting pounded by (or in between poundings from) big brown/black cock. They love it over there
>>1270792
Iceland
Less than a 1000 women here are immigrants. Probaly less than that even

Trying to travel to Prague in order to meet a friend. going from the UK near Manchester. i'm having a real problem with finding a cheap route as my budget is close to about £100. anyone help me out in finding a cheap alternative?
>>1270725
You're not giving much info to go off. Dates for starters.
>>1270775
You can't fly from the UK to Prague it would be over your budget MATE
take a bus to mainland europe, and then take an overnight bus to prague. I would recommend going via amsterdam
I'm flying out to Bangkok in a week, with plans to spend 8 days between Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Thoughts on how I should allocate my time between these countries? For example, would it typically better to spend more time in Vietnam as opposed to Cambodia?
Any general advice or experience would be appreciated, so long as it doesn't involve hookers.
Actually, just ignore this, I'll post in the general instead.

Very cool. I plan to go to that part of the world myself in January thru February, but I'm leaning toward using a tour service. The website wikivoyage has some itineraries for DIYers.
Hi, I'm new to this board so hope this thread is ok. I didn't see a cruise thread already.
I was considering going on a cruise. The idea of just relaxing for a few days and eating food, seeing entertainment and just sitting and watching the ocean seems appealing to me but looking for some input.
Any suggestions for what company to go with? I live in Alabama.
Is going on a cruise solo any good?
What locations would you recommend?
What sort of things can I expect I'll be doing on a cruise?
Any other experiences or advice would be great.

Went on a cruise in the West Caribbean with a large group of family friends. Pretty shitty experience overall. All the excursions were enjoyable enough just because tropical islands are pretty nice places to chill. The stingray trip off the Cayman Islands was super cool. The cruise itself was a total bore. Zero connectivity to the outside world, couldn't taste the food because we were too busy socializing, the shows are garish, and the drinks aren't even free. It's entertaining only if you think boys in suits and middle-aged women in leotards are sexy or your first time on a boat.

>The idea of just relaxing for a few days and eating food, seeing entertainment and just sitting and watching the ocean seems appealing to me but looking for some input.
This is fun for like the first day, then you realize you are just stuck on an overpriced smelly hotel with fatso's and kids running amuck while they try to jew you every way they can.
>Is going on a cruise solo any good?
Yeah, bunch of people on a boat drunk in the middle of the ocean. You can almost always get a fuck if you look decent.
>What locations would you recommend?
Only thing to do in South East US, go the touch and go to jamaca and back. Anything else is basically not worth it.
>What sort of things can I expect I'll be doing on a cruise?
Giant floating hotel, once you do a round of the boat that's all there is. Lots of people go on cruises now because mom and dad can do fuck all while the kids are basically impossible to lose and you can just leave them to the cruise staff.

Say I wanted to plan an expedition today. (or in the next few years.
What to do?
I mean to say I wish to gather a group of people and go in the wilds somewhere to look for stuff and explore and try a change from monotonous urban life. Is this viable, is this a thing people do?
Is there a way you can travel and do what you want without spending hardly any money of your own and having people preferably sponsor you or pay for your expenses? I heard somewhere that people pay foreigners to teach english and pay for their housing and such, is it practical and do any of you have experiences?
How nice is your butt and do you want to see the Middle East?
>>1270439
>s there a way you can travel and do what you want without spending hardly any money of your own
Couchsurfing is a thing just google it, there is a site where people will let you crash for free as long as you give them stories/help out for a night or so. You can also go camping in places, even heard of people sleeping on park benches and places in some asian places.
>I heard somewhere that people pay foreigners to teach english and pay for their housing and such, is it practical and do any of you have experiences?
Most common place is japan, but your chances are fairly low without any kind of hired help experience and minimal Japanese. Even then it is almost always just a roof over your head and some meals, nothing to write home about. There is also working abroad options but you generally have to still get to the country and anything you make is wage slaves, qualifications can be strict.
