what would happen to me in East Asia or SEA region? How fascinated would the locals be with my height? Would I really get randomers asking to take pictures with me all the time?

Not a weeb but I'm curious about this although it puts me off going there as I wouldn't like people always in my face everywhere I turn

I've been travelling around Europe and America and my height often works as a good conversation starter but not too much of a big deal

I'm 6'6" and went to Tokyo last summer. Got a lot of people staring at me. That's it. Always had to duck onto the train. Doorways and low-hanging signs were an issue, too.
