Fuck the ACBA

As far as toy photography goes I think every cliche and stupid thing about it comes from the ACBA and their uninspired mess.

Why are Attack on Titan characters in an alley? Why is every character framed straight on and just a few "feet" from the wall like they're in a play? Why are all the rooftops the size of a small room?

Why do you assholes perpetuate this garbage?

We have a lot of Holy Grail threads, but how many of us are actually trying to get that grail? This thread is for that, the people who are teetering on making that final push.

Right now, the Armor Plus Samurai Troopers/Ronin Warriors are my grail, and I'm waffling on finally pulling the trigger. Right now, the money isn't an issue, and I really want them. But the QC issues leave me nervous. Ultimately they're the only quality figures of the characters(the old figures are nice, but leave a lot to be desired) and I doubt they'll get new releases. Anyone here have any experience with them?

Any grails you're hunting?

They definitely are not worth the after market prices, they were barely worth the MRSP with all qc issues. I sold mine off for a pretty penny even with two of them having broken hips.

Summary:

I'm hopefully getting my first resin BJD this year (my dolls are all Pullips/Azone dolls right now). I've finally given up all hope of getting my hands on a Nobledolls Raspberry. Leaning towards either Unoa or Iplehouse for brands. I like Iplehouse's aesthetic more than Unoa's, but posing and being able to find clothes are both really important to me. So yeah, finally going to take the plunge.

It's not, but no toy version of Ren's shuttle has a moving feature. It was probably a last minute addition to the ship that did not get to the toy producers in time to fix it.

However, as someone who did mod the shuttle to have movable wings, I really got to give the Lego designers credit for making the static version an easier build (for younglings) and still very stable. The things I did adding in the giant hinges, while still legal builds, are way too complicated for younger people to do.
