We all have them, you goddamn NEETs, so let's see them. Show off your stacks of boxes.
Not showing my real stack of boxes; it's shameful
I toss em as soon as I unbox. I keep the accessories in labeled ziplock.

I am ungodly jealous right now.
Im going to London tomorrow, are there any shops that sell legitimate nendoroid's, figma's and gundams like pic related.
Also I'll be with family so no inappropriate stuff.
Get a Nigel Farage one

Entertainment Earth is an obvious one. It is overpriced, but also a very nice shop.
With with all the photo-shopping with toy promo pics lately. Mezco is a big offender too.
>>6138344
why would you use photoshop to hide the articulation ?
>>6138360
It's more likely to hide the fact that the prototype wasn't done at the time. So the legs probably aren't really connected or something here. Or, the lower body wasn't articulated.
At least, that's the only thing that I can assume that makes some kind of sense.
Maybe his nuts were sticking out
Hey /toy,
I recently picked up the Fnaf jack-o-chica figure (wanted to grab one at Halloween but it wasn't out yet) and only recently discovered most of the head is solid clear plastic. (Along with the accessory)
I want to take some pictures that utilize this feature, but the only light sources I have are my phone flashlight and a booklight .
I'll dump a few of my attempts.

peg on the shoulder and butt are for shared-mold soundwave to mount his gun, peghole on the lower right is to store the rifle, the four offset tabs on the butt are for ramp connections with other base modes.
>>6135700
They're obviously for the ramps. Are Hasbrocucks this stupid?
>>6135700
For the ramps, the guns (including Soundwaves), USB ports.
So which xenomorph - any scale - has the best neck articulation to pull off the best crawling pose?
>>6135382
Pretty sure NECA is McFarlane-tier in terms of articulation so I'm not sure
>>6135475
That's a bit of an exaggeration, but they're certain'y no shinkis. The Hiya ones aren't bad, but they're 1/18 so they don't have quite as many points of articulation, and even then their necks don't go back that far.
The SH Figuarts is damn near erotic
JESUS FUCKING CHRIST? DID I DIE AND WENT TO HEAVEN?
This is everything, everything I ever fucking wanted?
Does anyone know if a dragonzord and itanus are planed?
Like, how come I didn't hear of it before?
I like they actually gave the pterozord some wingspan, but I hope it actually work with the transformation and it isn't just some remove and piece switching. SoC then to overuse of that method.

I am going to do it. I only need the Joker from the balloon set and nothing else, although the Batman figure is nice.
The nearby Wal-Mart has a dead toy section that seldom restocks, and they've put used/returned boxes back on the shelves on clearance. Any danger in returning the set without the minifigs? I pocketed loose pieces from opened CMF bags - a victimless action, giving these abandoned pieces to a good home - but I am going to step up my game so I may live a quiet life.

I haven't built any vans before, though I've plans to make one sometime and I've made a fair amount of 6 wide vehicles.
I guess you might first want to figure out how to make your back door. Whether to use a prefabricated door piece or a brick-built one, as well as figuring out how it should open, then build a frame around that.
Look at other vans and figure out how to make a nice looking shaping of the front.
For the center section I don't imagine it'd be too difficult. Just, you know, build it?
>Build a vehicle in your own desired scale!
At 1:24 minifigs can reach the steering wheel, but not the peddles.
They'd be about a meter tall.
Does anyone have information on the release date of this Hannibal figure by Hot Toys? (If it still is being released).

Hi /toy/. I'm sure most of us remember going to Blockbuster and the like, and noticing the display rows facing windows being very faded compared to cases elsewhere in the store.
My question is: How quickly does sunlight damage and fading effect figures?
I have a very small area within my dorm room in which to display part of my figure collection. It's on top of an AC Unit, just a few inches directly underneath a window looking outside. It came to my attention only several days ago that sunlight fades things, reminding me of the Blockbuster display analogy previously mentioned. They've been there continuously for several months now. I'm wondering if it is safe after all to leave them there, or to simply pack them away with the rest of my collection and leave 2-3 figures about my computer desk.
Thank you and keep collecting!
Depending on the lamination used on your windows, direct sunlight will affect colors in 1-5 months.
Also depends on humidity and ambient temperatures though sunlight will definitely speed things up.

>to simply pack them away with the rest of my collection and leave 2-3 figures about my computer desk.
Honestly that's the safest option.
Do metal joints make the figure less liable to break than regular plastic joints?
Wondering what is the point of metal over plastic joints
>>6134464
No, it just means the joints themselves won't break. Metal is stronger than plastic so it could actually make the plastic parts it interacts with easier to break.
>>6134473
Metal is obviously stronger so you can use it to hinge small parts like in OP's pic. How easy it is to break depends on how much plastic is surrounding it.
