What does /toy/ think of the new Powerpuff Girl toys? I picked up 2 Powerpuff playsets for my nephew the other day and they're pretty neat. I haven't seen the revival show, so I can't say anything about that but these toys are pretty alright.
>>6127529
I also got him this big Bubbles playset. This one is carnival themed and it's sweet. My nephew liked them. There's a Buttercup one that involves hamburgers that I saw as well but he already has Buttercup so I didn't bother with that one.
>>6127529
>spinmaster can make toys like these for that terrible reboot but can't make quality steven universe figures
>>6127529
Here's a look at the Buttercup playset. I have no idea who the new characters are. Are they from the old one or are they new? I don't remember them.
I have this since forever but can't remember where it is from.

What does /toy/ think of based Mark's Pop Culture Quest?
>>6126885
More of a thing for /tv/ no?
>>6126886
Not when he's talking to toy collectors.
>>6126885
what the fuck? i never knew muricans refer to mazinger as "shogun warriors".
It's been two months now with basically zero updates other than "we're working on it".
No sign of the backerkit survey.
>How fucked are we?
Go on take the money and run. whoo whoo whoo.
who gives a shit?
I'm currently in two post-kickstarters where they said they aren't going to update shit until they actually can show the product in hand.
I'm in a few others where i just straight up delete their emails because i dont care about every fucking step in their production. I only pay attention when they actually want something from me.
Kickstarters aren't supposed to be episodes of How It's Made.
Also, fuck you for reminding me i'm even waiting on shit.
>>6126865
They are doing neither of those things. Russel has continuously pushed back the backerkit survey.
>>6126817
>>How fucked are we?
I put in $120 so I'm going forward based off the assumption that I threw away $120. So if these actually show up and Alyosha/JE Russel hasn't bamboozled everyone and literally taken a runny post Chinese buffet shit on his reputation then I'll have some cool figures Christmas 2017.
I haven't seen a single one of these figures locally, and lo and behold, when I actually looked up the figures on ebay, the prices were outrageous. Especially considering, surprise surprise, they looked very poor quality compared to the renders.
God, I'm sick of this shit. I'd be willing to fork over cash for them in person. But no way am I paying online rates when the quality is so lackluster
>funko
you were expecting something good?
I want to fuck Kira.

Thread Challenge: Post some RADICAL MOCs
first for johnny thunder
>>6125557
For the anon who wanted to see this, I don't have the hexagon frame, but here's what it looks like with a dish inside.
>Post some RADICAL MOCs
I would, if my fucking Bricklink orders ever arrived. Colorado to California shouldn't take a week, and yet here we are.

So wait, if we buy this overpriced crap, aren't we technically takaracucks?
Old thread: >>6124369
I'll only be buying movie masterpieces.

I wish we'd get an MP Blackout for the 10th anniversary of the first movie.

>you get a MP Blackout
>but it's a MP Bumblebee retool
How mad would you be?
So /toy/soldiers, do you figures have you been putting off buying for one reason or another? Maybe a line you've been hesitating on getting into?
Let's talk about it.
None of them are particularly expensive or anything, but some figures I'm interested in but haven't picked up yet would be Revoltech Snake, Vic Viper, Jehuty, and Jason, figma Michael Jackson, Miku, Yugi and Konata, those Mother 2 gashapon figures, D-Arts Zero type 2, and D-Arts X.
Mostly just the older MOTUC releases that are way too inflated in price on ebay to justify. Scareglow, Fisto, Snake Men, Jitsu, Horde Troopers, Kobra Khan. Super7 is where my hope rests.
>>6126231
Pretty much everything I'm mildly interested in but haven't bought is in that category because it's super expensive. I'd love to pick up the FMA revoltechs, for example, but they're an arm and a leg and maybe weren't that great anyway? Ditto with your pic.
Hello guys. I just found this board and thank god i did because i need your help. When i was a kid i had this strange action figure of spiderman who was strange, as he had face like a monster, red longue tongue like a lizard and i remember those big feet, grey like a trex with red claws. Please help me I've been searching for it for years.
I've been looking for ot on internet but nothing, it's not Venom i'm sure, please help me it really means a lot
>>6126080
I'm sure it wasn't Venom cause he had the typical red blue suit, but it was more like a skin, like a lizard
Stop bumping your thread. /toy/ is a slow board.
Who's your favorite Batman villain? What's your favorite figure of them? If someone already took your choice, second favorite is fine.
Supporting Bats goodguy figures okay in this thread too.
>>6125957
The recent Phantasm figure is great.
Bruce Timm's ver of Dr. Freeze, Two-Face and Poison Ivy.
>>6126029
Bruce Timm's Riddler for me, the first version not the shitty CO looking design. That DCD figure is the definitive fig for me.
I'm a big fan of the DC Classics Owlman based on the Morrison story as well. That outfit just kicks ass.
I was hoping for one based on Lincoln March's outfit but I guess it's not meant to be.
I post this every once and while in the hope that somebody here will know something.
All I know is that this toy is from France, and that there was a dragon as well (which my dog chewed up and ruined years ago).
I have no idea why it rotated...
If it's made from heavy rubber then I'd say it looks like some tchotchke crap that was sold at gift shops.
Looks like it's from Viva Pinata
Aww, sweet! Looks like I can make my sex doll!
>1/3 scale
For what purpose?
Probably so people can't make it into a realdoll. Most actresses who don't literally do porn probably wouldn't be cool with that.
>>6125390
Is it supposed to look like an Asian chick cosplaying as harley?
>>6125674
Does it even matter?
It already looks more attractive than Margot's features would
Do you guys keep the packaging for your figures? I've been collecting larger figures lately, and I'm already feeling it's cumbersome to keep this crap around. I've heard getting rid of the packaging reduces to resale price by 50%. Is that just for the art box, or including the styrofoam and other crap? Have any of you moved your collections without the original boxes? Did the figures take much damage?
I only keep them for my Japanese stuff (which I don't have much of in the first place).
Unless you're certain you're going to sell it soon, or the packaging is something special to you, throw the boxes away. Only the spergiest spergs give a fuck about boxes. They're trash, and there's better ways to store stuff.
>>6125424
Go away, cockroach box autist.
/toy/ a question that has been on my mind for a while.
So many "you knoe" threads where people talk about what they want to see, but then when something that was considered "sought after" does come out, there have been instances it tanks, usually because the knoe crowd was too niche or it was a shitty figure, but sometimes I just get the impression that people want to see something get made, but don't necessarily want to buy it.
Can anyone here honestly say that while they have wanted to see a figure get made, they had no real urge to actually buy it should it come out?
I get the impression that like, there's a large percentage of "spectator" collectors here who just want the thrill of seeing something made into plastic form, without actually wanting to cough up the dough to buy it, like some kind of vicarious collector..
Pic unrelated. But you do knoe, right..?
>>6125223
No, I actually buy everything that I ask for.
There's maybe ten people that reguarlly vist here, we're not going to affect sales either way
Plus the CCS figure did well in the end
>>6125281
I think there's more than 10, I mean, there's probably like, 10 namefags/tripfags at least. Then you add all the people that post anon. Plus most threads have a decent amount of unique posters.
Decent Overwatch figure's when?
decent grammar when?
>>6125155
Don't be so rude, you're expecting too much from an Overwatch fan.
>>6125157
no, he's expecting too much from anyone who visits 4chan.
