I give up /tg/. This has happened one too many times. This definitely is my fault as a GM. How do I correctly describe an enemy encounter as way above the party's ability to just bull-rush it?

They were trying to exit a ruin they got themselves accidentally trapped in and the monster was supposed to chase them to the exit. Instead of them going to the outside, they turned around and decided to maul it.

Describe the monster frantically, and tell them something along the lines of "run if you want to live!"
You are within your rights as GM to literally tell the players what to do. They have no obligation to listen. Then when they die, it's definitely not your fault.
Common sense/listening-ability challenges like this are a perfectly valid type of encounter if used sparingly.

The only named party I ever played in was just named after the paladin, and it wasn't decided within the party, and instead given to them by the public. As I recall it the DM even tried to prod the party into naming themselves, with zero success.

Having a name would bring a sense of camaraderie and high adventure to the entire game, yet apparently literally everyone I've ever played with sees it too much of a bother.

GM here, one of my players just complained to me because I didn't let his girlfriend join our game.

I have a very specific rule of disallowing females from joining my games because in my experience, they usually end up being the catalyst in games going to shit and annoying everyone at the table. I explained this rule to him and he called me sexist even when I explained my reasoning.

He insists she's different, but I know her and I find her to be very manipulative and controlling. She "borrowed" some of my vidya without asking and didn't give it back for weeks even with me constantly pestering her.

What is the best way to diffuse the situation? I want him to break it off with her, but they're engaged so I doubt he will. The guy is still a good friend of mine and I don't want to cut him out of the game.

How do you think society would develop differently if at age 16, without fail, every male human supernaturally received the knowledge necessary to summon a 'succubus' with no strings attached?

Specifically, the summoned 'demon' would only exist in the world to satisfy its summoner's sexual urges, and would vanish after a set period (unless extended via another 'summoning') or if it was put to work in some other capacity. The summoned being is totally enthusiastic about its role and simply cannot hold ill will towards its summoner. The means to summon it are trivial: a quiet place, a short incantation, and a few drops of the summoner's blood - other than having to bleed a bit, there are no drawbacks and no ways to interrupt, disturb, or detect the summoning apart from physically being there to mess with the summoner. Females, intersex people, and males under the age of 16 simply can't summon them, and the 'demons' will not interact with them if present.

Note that I'm only using the terms 'succubus' and 'demon' because they describe the image of what I'm talking about. The actual summoned beings have no tendency towards any sort of behavior except sexually pleasing their summoners, they don't come from any sort of cosmic underworld and they don't have supernatural powers. They may, however, have a slightly inhuman body, coming in unusual skin/hair/eye colors, possessing horns or fangs, etc. (see pic related)

So basically, this is a roundabout way of asking: if all men had their sexual needs taken care of at will, how would society change? What role would women fulfill in this society? Is it better or worse than the world we live in?

Let's assume it starts happening tomorrow.

Well, sure I'm certain that would be something that was attempted, but even if you have your scientific inquiry going on, I guarantee Pajeet and Ngyuen are getting their game on. Hell, damn near every single guy would be. So then how does that impact things like society's willingness to go to war, or to crush each other in business deals; how much everyday spite over sexual frustration and how much GAME gets trashed, and then, doesn't that really change the whole world a lot?

Same as my theory for any other sort of level design. Gimme a half-hour to get home and type it all up.

Whatever it takes to make it fun for the players without being too difficult for the dm to run.
If its a killy group lots of enemies, rp group should get lots of puzzles, npcs and neat environmental effects. Traps should be deadly and common enough to keep players on thier toes, but not tedious or ridiculous. some traps should be obvious and others more cunning.
Depending on the group the dungeon can range from very realistic to very spectacular and fantastic. Either way it should be well described feel dangerous. Dangerous enough to tax resorces and abilities to the limit. Keep the threat of death constantly looming overhead without reling on actually killing a PC. Only bad player decisions and really bad luck should do that.
Most important is that it keeps everybody involved and having fun.

As far as combat goes, interesting environments is a must. Nobody likes fighting in empty rooms.

My general philosophy is that in a pinch, every room should have at least one object or feature in it with potential energy, whether it's a chandelier that can be dropped, a column that can be toppled, a priceless vase that can be shattered, a device that can be activated, a pit that can be fallen down, a ledge that can be leaped from, a rope that can be swung from, a trap that can be activated or set up, a box that can be hidden in, a secret door that can be found, vines or moss that can be climbed, rapids that can carry you away, etc. When you have more time to prepare, there should be interesting combinations of interesting objects or features. There just needs to be SOMETHING in any given environment so that a player can make creative decisions and inspired maneuvers instead of just attacking something.

When it comes to general layout and architecture (assuming the dungeon is a constructed building or area) the very first question that needs to be asked is what was its purpose. Was it a stronghold for nobles? A fort for soldiers? A crypt for the dead? A store room for treasure? A temple for acolytes? Everything about the raw layout and style of the dungeon will stem from who made it and what they made it for.
