Rogue should be able to eavesdrop and gather intel from local sources.
Barbarian isn't afraid of anything, so shapeshifting into "scary thing x" will only get its ass kicked.
Cleric might know enough to recognize what we're dealing with.(a demon or whatever IT is)
Wizard should be smart enough to call bullshit on his illusions/recognize its shapes and weaknesses.
Paladin smites the giant spider to death, then praises Pelor for giving him victory over this evil.
Killing Pennywise isn't really possible, cause it's an immortal thing from beyond the void of time and space, but my party would survive/tell people to gtfo before they get eaten.

I really like the <your guys> aspect of Warhammer and I have just bought my first models (a start collecting! necrons box) And i had the idea of theming them with synthwave with the idea that while they slept some humans came in and made gigantic subwoofer towers from which they blasted synthwave 24/7. Theyre all dead now and the necrons have awakened and discovered it.
How do i Flavour and decorate my necrons with that idea in mind?
Alternatively just some 80's themed necrons where every warrior has shutter shades and the overlord has 3D glasses.

Do you have a process for inventing fantasy animals? Just google fossils?
I wanted to have an enormous mammal that pulls a house sized building across a flat, arid landscape, but I'm getting caught up in things like there obviously wouldn't be enough food for an animal to get that big in that climate.

Like that episode of Garo where they go to collect mystic beast pelts, and they activate spirit vision.
Or the spirit realms in Berserk.
