One of my favorite EDH cards is Lurking Predators. It's very similar to Rhystic Study and the randomness leads to some very fun boards. Sometimes it's a do-nothing card but in 4 or more player games it can be incredible and when you've got some way to tutor or put creatures on top of your deck it's extremely fun.

I've made plays like Worldly Tutoring for Mystic Snake in response to the trigger and those are my favorite part of magic. Other times it is just a Timmy card that gives you free fatties.

Yes. The Sorcerer Kings created an urban eden in the Keshaht Jungle and shunned the worship of the gods. Their queen then attempted to court the Horizon Beast Ngolgangr and it took the lives of all her people as a dowry.

There's two. One set split into two subspecies who differed on some minor aspects of magical thought. Which was important, since aside from the magic they were pretty much cavemen unable to make fire or clothes or do anything on their own. So naturally this became a racial holy war, spawned a few of the current races who were to be weapons species. Think the Silmarillion, but with more squick and genocide. and occasional magical anomalies that randomly flare up and turn all the grass on a continent into cheese or blood or peoples blood into grass.

The second set are interplanetary space dragons who are born by stickytaping a bunch of kobolds together, basically, until you get a brain-and-kobold-dragon about a kilometre long and all the attendant problems of that. Despite all that brain matter they haven't quite worked out that releasing superplagues that change the environment to counteract the anomalies of the first bunch is a bad thing.

The "Sun" and the "Moon" are two angler fish monsters looking for each other. They wander the cavern's river system alone. You can't really use them to keep decent track of time or anything, you just occasionally watch them float by.

When you read or watch something with a character that is outwardly treating someone like trash for several episodes/chapters/whatever it's okay because you are separated from it and the emotional payoff of a character showing a soft side will carry you. Players in a game get their first impressions of a character in the first session the character appears. If they don't like the character when they first show up, they may never like the character. The time between sessions, the length of sessions, and the fact that the players are personally interacting with your NPC rather than just reading or watching make it so the impressions stick and it's much more personal.

if people dont like the person, and in most cartoons the tsundere is in fact disliked at first, its because they emphasize the tsun not the dere

people like tsunderes because having a softer more caring center adds some depth to an otherwise 1-dimensional to a generic jerk, but you must take care to show just enough that they know there is more to your character, but not enough that they dont wonder if there is more

They are superb shots, and their power armor keeps them from being suppressed by normal weapons. So they need a lot less ammo (when fighting cultists or guardsmen) than equals fighting each other would.

Plus thanks to power armor, they can save even more by relying on melee in close quarters.

Question re: prototype transhuman for you guys. Would you prefer to be able to select the specific bioware that is discounted by it, or have Chummer manage it for you automagically? The current system is just a flat reduction in the total cost, which isn't super close to RAW.

If you're OK with customs and with your players hating you, then you might want to look at this.

Thanks, anon. I'm actually playing with a hypothetical 100t dual LBX 20 dude with a snub PPC and a tag right now in MekLab. Jump 3 and no place for a hatchet, but it looks pretty menacing on paper. Also costs less and can be used pretty early in the timeline.
