Today i finally lost my shit with my retard players and told them to fuck themselves. Motherfuckers not attending the game for 3 weeks straight, and when they do come it's usually 2 hours later than what we had planned. Fuck it, i'm tired of their shit. My setting is a bunch of city states. The settlers brought their gods over where the natives are more animalistic in their worship. In an effort to convert the natives, the settler drew parralels from between the gods. None of the city states are theocracies though.

If they're *really* advanced in bio-tech, they could also have artificial wombs, but still technically living wombs.
Or maybe they could manage to make babies grow faster, or make it so they can survive outside the womb even earlier, or solve the hip/head problem and have babies be born less dependent.

I have yet to actually play this, but it's very roleplay heavy. This didn't go over well with one of my players when trying to make connections/emotional bonds to the other players, as he's more of a min-maxer.

The DramaSystem sounds great--I got both the core book and Blood on the Snow.

The hardest thing will probably be finding people to play it, since it's much more player-driven in mechanics and RP heavy.

Yes this is absolutely true and should always be the first answer in a thread like this.

I would say however that druids tend to be a sort of half way point between the primal tribal ritual of the shaman and the elaborate organized hierarchy of the cleric. Druids are organized and can have elaborate rituals, but they still use those rituals to deal with the primal wild forces.

You would never see a clan of druids building an elaborate cathedral to enforce the rule of a singular god or pantheon like a cleric, but they will build a ring of standing stones or a dolmen to mark special areas and honor the ancestors.

You will never see a druid drink a gallon of ayuasca and run screaming through the jungle in an insane costume made from feathers and plants like a shaman, but they would eat mushrooms and build a bonfire for a human sacrifice.

That's interesting, so Druids as a transition point between the personal religious experiances of shaman, and the social functions of priests. People who have a defined place in the social order but are still looked to because of their personal connection to the supernatural.
