It's fine to be the only (recorded) one brought over, but all those other automatic special powers are awful, as is gameification. Using JRPG stats, levels, and concepts are just awful - an adventurer guild is one of the worst fucking tropes. That, and they tend to be EXTREMELY generic settings, the base japanese 'western' fantasy world with it's vanilla elves, vanilla dwarves, vanilla JRPG style magic, it's so fucking repetitive.
Now and Then, Here and There is a good example, I think, though Shu is an oblivious idiot.

Bant would be a first choice, since it's relatively calm compared to some planes and well fortified. Problem is the lack of red and black mana sources. Maybe rely on artifacts to protect my home.

Ravnica is a maybe. Walk to an empty plane, mine some gold, and never worry about rent. Get a high rise on the right side of Orzhov or Azorius and never worry about home security.

Lorwyn/Shadowmoore... probably not.

Honestly, I'd pick Kaladesh at this point. Low magic so I know I'm one of the strongest mortals by default. Good tech and advanced cities. Probably cleaner than Ravnica, with an easily accessible countryside. Tasty brown residents, with a bunch of cute rogues. Aetherborn vampires and civil unrest is a risk, but less so than unstable planes, guild magic bullshit, or being eaten by Grixus and Jund invaders. And I could sell tech from other planes for income.

Primarchs can kill warlord titans in 1v1 combat in the fluff, and the legions run up against just about everything without a hiccup. I doubt the Nids are going to accomplish much here.

Loken and a squad of Luna Wolves kill a gigantic chaos spawn while not knowing what chaos is, and are horrified at the losses of 3 space marines they take.

Trying to fight your way out from an arena filled with undead, plus the necromancer bards (who will likely be in their element, and may have their stagehands as meatshield backup) should be pretty tough

Think about real concerts.

You'll have the drunken belligerents - > Maybe a biker gang if the concert attracts that crowd. They'll be cruising for a fight, but maybe you fight them non-lethally (because, they're still human), so a tactically hard fight where you can't pull out your big fight cards.

Necrobardic shenanigans.
The party fights skeletons. Party beats skeletons as they try to rush the stage. But the necromancer singers put the music in those old bones, and they start toe tapping and reassembling. Great. Now fight skeletons again. Beat them and progress towards the stage. Drop more funky beats, and now fight (the same skeletons) again, with maybe a ghoul dance-lieutenant.

After the second fight, it's more important to find a way to interrupt the reassembling process than to defeat them in the first place.

Fucking with the Dark Angels.
