That Primaris Dreadnought is like a butterface. Like, I admit some parts of it are great, and I can see why people like it, but it's just so hideous. Like a 0/10 face on a 10/10 body. You can't say no to that booty.

Are there any perks that work for making an army of mundane humans stand up to Kaiju/Gods/Supers?

Literally plot armor. Bitch never gets in trouble.
>>54314424
That has more to do with Jon than plot armor. I seem to recall him getting in a lot of shit with people who weren't Jon, Odie or Jon's... friend? Whoever that guy was.
Sup /tg/, this is the first draft of a tournament 1500pts tyranid list I want to build
General aim is to create a highly mobile army with the trygon and devil gaunts being able to suprise buttsex a problematic enemy unit once per game.
What do you guys think?
PS: is there any poinst efficient shooting in the tyranid list or should I just concentrate on assault?

How are you using the swarmlord in this army? He is best suited to flinging himself or genestealers across the field.
Also tyranids have exceptional shooting with the exocrine and biovores that few want to miss out on.
>>54314327
The Swarmlord is included to add a turn 1 charge threat; would a different HQ be more suited to this list?
I like the biovores, but the exocrine seems hella expensive at 228 points...

Flood. Book Flood, that is. Scary stuff.
The internal communication implant firmware's got a bug, and 80% of the population uses one!
I like to play the horror aspect of it being incredibly infectious, and thus making it landing planetside effectively a planetwide death sentence.
Nuke the site from orbit and all that.
im brand new at d&d help a brotha out tell me your ways
role play > roll play
>Frogposting REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Now that that's out of the way. Nigga don't play D&D. D&D is terrible and taints your TTRPG experience from then on.

ive played a few really small "campaigns" with a few friends, but it feels like were all bumbling idiots not fully grasping the game
Okay so how the fuck do I make Belak interesting and/or entertaining? Any other DMs do anything different with this game?
>>54311104
In wondering that as well. I've had a lot of success with my players and the kobolds. They've adopted Meepo basically. What part do your players like?
>>54311149
They love the whole diplomacy thing, they're all real into character interaction, but I feel like I might be depending on it too much. My group loves Meepo too, I tried to make him sympathetic.
>>54311236
I've chopped a lot of the dungeon. They like exploring, making maps, role playing, and finding history but they have a hard time with combat. Part of that is the small rooms and hallways so I'm rewriting them to be in bigger rooms.
Have you refluffed anything?
Ok, /tg/, what's the dumbest thing you've done or seen done in your group?
Bonus points if they're not That Guy and just happened to have amazing lack of judgement that one time

>We had to work together to prevent any one sect from winning so that none of us became annihilated from reality conceptually.
>Except for the one character who was designed as the one who believed in nothing but will to power.
>His goal was openly stated to kill all the gods.
>We prevented every paradise in hopes things would balance out and by the end game will man was the last one standing.
We traded all of reality for a pretty cool pvp boss battle. We lost.

Waring Spoilers for white plume mountain
>Guy shows up to session
>I'm running white plume mountain
>Wants to play Chaotic Evil Sorcerer
>Doesn't understand what Chaotic Evil means
>Thinks it means "stupidly aggressive, constantly running ahead even though he has no hitpoints
>Other adventurers are shadowmonk and fighter/barbarian
>Sorcerer immediately banishes sphinx when they come to her. Other heroes stunned. Shadowmonk teleports to other side of wall of force Sphinx was guarding.
>Sphinx comes back and bellows at Monk to get back on other side of the wall and answer the damn riddle
>Sphinx anxiously waits in a foot of stagnant water while dumb heroes struggle to answer riddle. Eventually they get it, she cheers and drops wall of force. As Sphinx rushes past them, wooping with joy, to go outside again Sorcerer tries to take a shot at her but I rule she gets out first.
>Sorcerer, without waiting to talk to his fellow adventurers, then sprints down middle path because "I'm chaotic Evil." Charges into room with Selkies. Immediately fails test and jumps into the water. Starts to drown.
>Cue clusterfuck of combat where the other adventurers rush in to save him. Both fail a save at least once but save each other two.
>After that Sorcerer realises its probably a bad idea to charge around blindly
>Rest of adventure goes well. Sorcerer thinks creatively and does good rping.
>Finishes session alive
>Later says he had fun but wishes he'd been able to "play his character as Chaotic Evil"

only if you REALLY like the flavor desu. economically you're losing money, it's on you if the cards are of your liking
That is your call are you:
1
>The type of player that MUST get every penny worth of value from a card game that you are meant to play to get the value out of then.
2
>The type of player that wants to have fun and likes the set even though everyone says it is a shit block.
3
>You want to play the lottery and get some of these cards before 2 blocks rotate out and prices most likely will rise forthwith.

def the second desu
>Be me.
>Try to introduce cousin's husband to tabeltop rpgs.
>Cousin herself used to play 2nd ed DnD. Surprisingly not a land whale, but I digress.
>Husband didn't understand RPGs for a long, long time, despite being thoroughly acquainted with other forms of gaming.
>He is a fan of GoT. I am not. Infact I dislike it. He knows this. Cousin knows this. It causes her amusement as I have such salt for GRRM.
>Guy winds up showing me the ASOIAF rpgs from Green Ronin, asking "Is this a good game? Good quality?" (they both know I have a large library, and something like 15 years of GMing/playing)
>Tell him I don't know.
>Guy *buys* is, and says "Now we can start! What about *this night*"
>Explain to him that RPing isn't just a get up and go type thing, that preparation is involved.
>He seems to understand this, and wants me to run the adventure in the back of the book.
>I decline, saying that I don't play modules really, that I make it up myself.
>I didn't say because metagaming asshole sometimes try to use OOC knowledge, because that's too much for his newbie brain.
> He doesn't understand, and says "Wouldn't that save you lots of trouble?"
>My reply: "Yes, but it also robs me of fun"
>>54309825
>He makes character
>Cousin was going to but time ran out and I had to leave. It was agreed upon that I should GM, despite my dislike of the setting, I at least know how to GM
>Talk to him tonight
>Apparently I'm not going to GM: "We are going to do the introduction adventure in the back". I ask who is GMing. He says he and her will take turns.
>Bit put off by this, saying that this might make things complicated. His reply is "Nothing is complicated".
>Apparently he didn't tell my cousin she was going to co-GM with him, he just 'voluntold'.
>I asked him if she explained "Metagaming" to him.
>His reply?
> "Everything we need to understand is in the book with the introductory scenarios designed for new players and experienced."
>Am left speechless, both because of the very 'robotic' tone of the text, and also kind or rankled, as this is some newbie speaking to me.
>Perhaps it's my own idiot pride.
>But now I have a very uneasy feeling
So be honest /tg/, does this sound like a trainwreck waiting to happen?

Oh yes, I can't imagine this turning out well. That being said, you might get a good storytime out of it. Best to let him learn his lesson the hard way.
Why does WotC hate Dragonlance so much?
Will there ever be another module for it?

WotC doesn't really handle it anymore. It's dead yo.
Didn't they try to release Kender and other dragonlance material in the D&D Next playtest phase and a lot of people lost their shit?
