How do you like your Fallout? A little grim and gritty, with a strong enough survivalist focus to force players to constantly prepare and think twice about fighting? Something fairly easy and with more focus on general exploration, or involving them in a story, with combat that anyone can overcome if they aren't dumb?

Long story short, magic is done by imposing your will upon reality but unlike gods mortals do not have the supreme will power to simply "will" things to happen so they have to focus their will power in the form of signs, rituals, and memes essentially.

For the religious, this takes the form of faith and acts of faith (prayer, ritual cleansing, use of religious iconography, etc). For the "arcane" which really is just the more academic version of magic it's more on knowledge and formulas and similar such rituals.

Either way, they both do the same thing to get results and this applies to everything even the martials who superhuman feats of skill and martial prowess are done similarly

Every magic comes from a certain source. Some believe all magic is holy, some don't. While some places of magical education will teach all manner of it, some backwater areas leave healing magic to churches.

There are a number of reasons why that isn't a problem bancho.
Who says it doesn't get bigger? It says the ACU returns to it so if the ACU is bigger wouldn't it have to get bigger too?

If not I could import something that already has a hanger that grows with it or import it as the same.

Failing that it would be possible to import with something that doesn't need a hanger at all.

Not nearly enough specs for the Combine, they're just really strong and multidimensional with a few scant references to some really powerful shit, but for most of the game you're just dealing with dudes in gas masks... we need more feats.

Considering the Combine was laid low by a mute with a crowbar I'm going to have to give this one to the Imperium.

At first my gut reaction was to say the Combine since they conquered Earth so quickly in their own lore, but now that I think about it I think the Imperium actually stands a good chance at defeating them. The Combine are like more evil Tau. They take over a place and turn all of the life there into more weapons to be used later. But outside of some spooky monsters here and some fiendish tactics there, when all is said and done its still things that can be fought reasonably well by a determined resistance team. Combine just have numbers to beat them out.

The Imperium, of course, is nothing BUT numbers, and lots and lots of fire power. I think humanity might win this fight, or at least be so annoying that the Combine leave.

No, but Moxxie and Tina were. Moxxie for being either that one guy/girl that insisted on sexualizing everything out of perversion or a desire for attention, and Tina for being the lolrandumb cringeworthy hobo who's immediate reaction to everything was to blow it up. If we go by DLC Tina would probably make a half decent DM if she got a reign on her railroading tendencies.

You can't.

Things that go full inhuman are usually restricted to DM. From DM perspective its easier to come up with something beyond human capabilities and just present the surface, by just going Lovecraftian for example you can set emotional enviroment for players and it will be fine without getting to much into complexities of advanced intelligence.

For players? Not so much, i mean You can try of course, but put a lot of thought into a 'character' and try to come up with a good way of communication for that 'character'.

Point is from my experience its just not worth it. I played an advanced AI and a Squirrel so i found myself in both extremes, but that devolved quickly into very anthropomorphic play anyway.
