How is Cyberpunk 2020?

I'm not a big RPG player but the upcoming CDProjectRed game is getting me hyped and this looks like something I could really get into. I had a lot of fun playing Star Wars D6 in the past.

Hi everybody I'm working on a scifi campaign in GURPS and I would want it to feature a highly technologically advanced species that's on the verge of dying out.

the problem I've run into is that no matter what problems the species has their tech should be able to overcome it. For example if they have low birth rate they can simply clone new members of their species.

So how would I, realistically, be able to make a high tech species be dying out?

Traveller is a classic science fiction system first released in 1977. In its original release it was a general purpose SF system, but a setting was soon developed called The Third Imperium, based on classic space opera tropes of the 60s, 70s, and 80s, with a slight noir tint.
Though it can support a wide range of game types, the classic campaign involves a group of retired veterans tooling around in a spaceship, taking whatever jobs they can find in a desperate bid to stay in business, a la Firefly or Cowboy Bebop.

Where is all this going?
Where did Rick Priestly intend for it to go?
Do we need to take GW's lead on any of it?

Is it time to go back to 2nd edition and build a universal galactic skirmish setting?

Building Shadow War Armageddon into a viable tabletop system and campaign structure may be a better solution than conforming to 8th edition?

Can we build every codex into SWA rules?
Can we just play 40K skirmish with full codex options?
Wasn't 40K originally supposed to be a skirmish game anyway?

These are just the big questions but feel free to discuss any of the skirmish games listed.

My FLGS confirms week 1 will be 500pts, then escalate from there. Paint optional, though you will get bonus points for it. The July 30 Warhammer World subevent will be 1750pts. There will be bonus points awarded for using specific unit types each week, but that's supposed to be balanced out by the low point value of the conflict.

So, who will you fight and bleed for? The living dead guy on his corpse throne, or the Emperor? Or perhaps the Xenos, who can only act as harriers this campaign? What about tactics? Plan on bringing a horde army to Loebos despite that wicked stratagem threatening to undo you?

So if Ao linked the power of the gods to the number of worshipers they have...

How is it that there is an entire Pantheon of Giant deities, ranging from Lesser up to Greater Gods? And why isn't Vaprak, the Lesser God of Ogres and Trolls, the most numerous breed of giantkin, the most powerful of the Giant Gods, instead of one of the weaker ones?

The same applies to all other species with small populations.
