Maybe it based of the proportion of that species population? So each race has 100 'faith' points, humans have a bunch of diffrent gods so they all get a share of the humans 100 points.
But if a race just follows 1 god they get all the points.

But that's the thing- Giants have an entire PANTHEON, not just one god. Now, individual giant breeds like Frost Giants or Fire Giants tend to focus on one in particular, but no more so than, say, humans focus on one god in particular. The only race that venerates only one god are the Ogres and Trolls, because none of the Giant gods want them but Vaprak, and even they wander sometimes.

That's the thing though- the vast majority of trolls and ogres DO worship Vaprak. He's very popular with them- unsurprisingly, given that he's at least the semi-literal father of the ogre race.

Not really related but can someone clarify for me why the fuck frost giants use chainmail? Like is it normal chainmail or are the links scaled to their size? If they are scaled to their size wouldn't they be useless since the holes are so big that normal swords could go straight through? If they're not scaled to their size how do they get it? Do they make it themselves with their giant fucking fingers? Do they steal it and then stitch it together? Why would they do that? Why would they use chainmail when the greatest threat coming from other frost giants would be blunt trauma from their large weapons? Do they account for this? If they can make big plate armor like that why would they even bother with chainmail that can't stop an upscaled version of the same problem chainmail has? How does King Crimson work? Wouldn't they do better with big chunks of wood or two-ply or three-ply leather armor? Why would you use chainmail if you're that big?

It's actually linked to the biomass of the worshippers, a single frost giant worshipper counts for 12 human worshippers

Humans are at a sweet spot of weak and strong and ambitious which makes them amazing worshipers. Humans are weak and need tools and knowledge to do things, but are shit at figuring things out. Humans are good at everything but great at nothing. Humans love having more power and capability than anyone else. Gods can give you the edge you need to survive or excel. Hell, humans are good at becoming gods too - human gods have a pretty high turnover rate.

It's obvious. Humans ask the gods for a lot and sacrifice to them all the time. They have ordered worship, chaotic worship, etc. Humans are an extremely worship prone species.

What the hell is a giant going to do? They're already strong and magical, they don't need godly help very often. Trolls aren't very smart or organized and they're evil, so their sacrifices are rarely personal.

Look at the other races and they're all exaggerations of human traits. That's why they're shit at generating faith. Generalists will succeed a fair amount everywhere, while specialists only succeed at a niche. Over time that adds up to humans having tons of room for true faith and worship other species just don't have. Dwarves won't worship trees, Trolls won't worship in a Cathedral, Elves won't worship mechanist gods. Not beyond weird individuals, anyway. Humans will worship literally anything and do it with absolute genuine faith.
