Old thread: >>54283378
TFW prosecutors are the best looking stormcast but have mediocre rules.
Stormcasts need exactly 0 new models, and exactly 3 more upgrade packs
Is it possible to make an army of trolls and giants? I'm not really interested in making a horde army or painting rank and file, but the idea of having a few big players seems cool. Sort of like Imperial Knights in 40k.
Stat me /tg/
I'm starting to kind of hate it whenever someone brings up metroid stuff here, but for basically all the hunters the answer is "like Samus, but less so"

Science Team at its finest.
This software helps fantasy world builders manage their fantasy worlds, while keeping it entirely on their own hard drives, and in their own hands. It is designed as a dungeon master aid, and it focuses on things typically found in fantasy rpg worlds. The four main entities it tracks are Npcs, Gods, Regions, and Events. You can use this tool to track relationships between the different parts of your world in a rather zippy manner, and if you don't have enough information on the default screen just throw it into the statblock. If that still isn't enough for you, don't let labels confine you (Npcs are very similar to Items,) so use it in a way that makes sense to you! It is your fantasy world after all.
Because this application is a dungeon master tool it comes with easy ways to show players your fantasy world, every major object can be shown to the players through a second monitor facing the players, or connecting a different device to this computer through a IP adress after starting the web service. Additionally, You can move your worlds around on a hard drive with the software, so if you need to DM at another person's PC all of your information is still right where you left it, along with the application. This should not slow down your gameplay, and keeping track of information with this tool means that you shouldn't forget it by the time next session rolls around, not because your memory is so good, but because you wrote it down and it is on your screen again.
We hope that you enjoy using our software!

This piece of hardware does all of that and more for less than a buck.
>>54377659
Looks like a fun and useful tool. Though we're probably going to scream "Shill" for the rest of the thread.
>Java
Please no.
All I want is some kind of dungeon/hex mapping tool that doesn't feel 10 years out of date.
What the hell does this mean
Im new to 40k and this is confusing

FIRST FOR THE OMNISSIAH
What armies are you all running for Fate of Konor, and what do your lists look like?
>>54375598
>the beginning of the age of manlets in power armour squating
>Love the taste of liver
>Create a magical ring that teleports to you the liver of the one who slips it on
>Leave it on the ground in an inn
What could go wrong?
>>54374707
Mate you're gonna get fucked up livers if you leave it on an inn of all places, leave it somewhere a drunkard won't pick it up like a palace or the library or just disguise yourself and sell it to some schmuck, steal it from said shcmuck and then rinse and repeat.
>>54374707
You teleport into a pawn shop next to a pudgy dude saying he can only do about 5 silver for it, standing next to the skeevy opportunist who picked it off the floor.
>>54374707
That's a really weird magical realm you got there OP.
Why does tg hate them?
Dragonborn are nonsensical race of marysues, and by far the worst itteration of both dragon races and lizardmen.
>>54374449
Why exactly. Cause if it's just because of forgotten realms lore you can just change it.
>>54374399
Most of us don't care about them one way or another, but there's always going to be a few fanatical haters who will rage about them in every thread, claim (falsely) to represent the majority, and make it look like there's more hate than there really is, when mostly it's total indifference.
I guess though, if you average out the five fans, the 6 or 7 haters, and the 9001 "who really cares"-ers, it does balance against, but that's true for nearly anything anyone talks about here, right down to backgammon and checkers.
Can modern secondary world fantasy work?
>>54374218
>secondary world
Who?
>>54374218
Secondary world? What's that?
So me and my party got rid of a city of troublesome orcs. They resided in the middle of a fertile valley. Now that they are gone, the DMPC told us that we could invite one of the neighboring powers to take over it.
He said however that we should consider well which race we invite, listing thus possible gifts we could receive from doing so:
1) The nearby human king would probably award us with nobility (which would decrease costs and increase influence in all of his cities) and wealth;
2) The nearby elves would probably teach us spells or give us powerful magical artifacts;
3) The dwarves would probably award us with powerful armor or weapons, from mithril to even perhaps adamantine;
Which one of them would you guys vote for?
My group is discussing it a lot, since the wizard wants the elves and the martials want the dwarves. I'm sincerely thinking of voting for the humans since prestige seems to open a lot of possibilities.
>>54373888
land and wealth can get you better equipment and artifacts so go with the humans
Give it to the humans, go into mountains and clear out monsters from inevitable caves to give them to dwarves
invade elves
>>54373888
Give it to the dwarves and get your +3 weapons/armor early. Nobility and land will come when you eventually save the world, anyways.
When was it good anon? When did your players impress you? When did your players surprise you? Have your players ever changed your story to the point it made head spin in a good way? Tell your stories about your best TTRPG GM times.
Keep your player hating ways in the appropriate threads please.
I feel little but spite and malice towards my players
>>54373381
I got a few great stories, but generally my players are good players and fun people. I look forward to playing with them each week
>>54373381
Players annoy me more than not. And you can tell most of the people on here are the retarded players that are annoying as well.

Barbarian/stone age art thread
>>54372798
I feel that for fantasy settings, the less accurate the dinosaurs the more fantastic it feels. Accurate dinosaurs are really cool as animals of the past, but there is a certain charm to the hazy, timeless, savage atmosphere of older dinosaur art. Where foggy jungles and volcanic craters dominated the landscape, when colossal lizards with gore caked jaws hunted the immense serpents of fetid swamps.
>>54372798
Sounds good.

What would Shadowrun look like if the players were the police instead?
>>54371836
Like this.
Just like regular shadowrunners except the uniforms would change. /cynic
>>54371885
And maybe better vehicles.
>>54371836
It might be fun playing as some beleaguered police force, low on staff and funds, dealing with the awful shit that happens every day with shadowrunners being the biggest pain.
If you had to choose a gf between a dark eldar, craftworld, harlequin, or exodite, what would you choose?
