Macro shots of flowers are overused, cheap and bottom of the barrel. Try again and at least make sure you're actually focusing the fucking flower, not the sprouts behind it.

No, they're that expensive because the people/companies who use them don't care about the price, they're just want raw performance
Companies will charge outlandish prices for that group because it's such a small lucrative market as well.

Pretty much this. Except if you are a very serious professional which belongs in a small niche then there is no reason to buy a digital MF camera. Just snag a cheap MF film camera (there's a pretty sizable selection), stock up on film, learn to dev it yourself and have fun.
Why isn't there more like this?

idgaf about sensor size unless I'm adapting lenses. If I'm adapting full frame lenses, I want dat full frame, senpai. If not, it boils down to what works for me. I have a full frame a7, an APS-H M8, and a m43 GH5 (which I use for video). They all have their uses.

Assuming I can get both for around $400 with a 18-55mm G VR lens, but the 3400 comes with an additional 70-300mm lens, which one should I get. I'm worried I'll come to regret not having an audio port. Are there add-ons to get by with this, or is audio better recorded on a separate device?

You can get a near mint d7100 and 18-55 for $450. I would get the best body you can, then worry about extra lenses - the 70-300 is dirt cheap.

How much dick does the Sony 55-210 suck? I'm going to go hiking in the northern parts of Sweden this summer and I need a longer range zoom than the 18-55 kit lens. I've been planning on buying the 18-105 f/4 but since my budget is tight I'm thinking about getting the 55-210 instead.
Is the 55-210 even worth buying, performance wise, or should I try and go for the 18-105?

should I get a nikon d3300 with 18-55mm and 55-200mm kit lenses or a sony a6000 for travel in urban areas?
Ideally would get the fuji x-t1 or x-t10, but it's out of my price range. I like the idea of being able to upgrade bodies but retain the same lenses. Is it worth investing into the sony system, if I go that route?
