ITT: We examine my pictures from a brief trip on tour through Chicago. Post pics of urban environments you've taken photos of too.

Prove to me that micro 4/3rds isn't the best format for street shooting (other than say medium format film).

Hello /p/eople

I just purchased a Nikkon Coolpix L340 for photographing some of my art, and I began thinking that perhaps I would like to start photography. I have never dabbled in this field before, except when I made my own pinhole camera when I was in HS.

SO I was wondering if you could offer some advice or tips, perhaps some infographics on photography. I have seen them before but never saved them because as I said, I never really did this at all before.

I've never used an external flash before but I want to invest in one. The problem is every article I could find about flash only tell me about ridiculous setup involving multiple wireless flash in every directions echoing each and other memes I don't quite understand like rim/pass lights, xbox huge softbox. It feels overwhelming for a "flash basics".

Is there any point in using a single external flash mounted on the camera and not wirelessly triggered? What are some cool trick I could do with a single flash beside "here's some more light directly in your subjects face"?

I'm always amazed how after seeing these videos with horrendous exposure and badly color corrected (Linus looks like a Simpsons character in most of his videos) he doesn't fire that retard once and for all.

Since Im living here Id like to shoot some art nudes in the upcoming autumn leaves in a few months but dont want to get into hot water over some vague technicality (even if the model is say 20+ over the age of sexual consent despite non sexual photos) - such as that thing in the article about pubic hair.
