Can we all agree that this is the best car ever made?
the new gt3 is faster and more comfortable and no less of a drivers car. so no.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND INTO THE TRASH IT GOES
Why do new cars have electronic parking brakes?
Whay happens if the battery dies? Does car roll?
It would be extremely painful

You're a big guy.
Alright /brit/fags, what was your first car, how old were you, and how much was your insurance?
I'm doing some shopping. I'm debating whether to just fuck it and get a 1996 Celica since insurance will be ridiculous regardless.
First I bought myself, and didn't borrow on family insurance?
Volvo V40 P2 1.9 turbodiesel

Under £900 a year, down to £460/year now at 23, with only 2 years no claims (oops)

shitty econobox with floaty pensioner suspension and slow in general but the torque is fun
basically insurance is a scam regardless don't do what I did, just get something fun and bite the bullet
Looks like I'm gonna be a pizza guy soon. I'll ride their branded scooter until it gets too cold and then switch to car (if i'm still working there). Hours seem flexible enough, pay seems acceptable at first glance.
Impregnate me with your wisdom
start smoking weed, i'm not memeing. it's shitty and everybody who delivers smokes weed to deal with it.
You wont get to fuck milfs because you will be fired for being half an hour late and recieving no money.

the only drug I need is the natural rush of adrenaline I get when killing another human being
>>17804052
it's a new franchise just starting up and they said they're low on people with actual driver's licenses (euro oldtown, most other "drivers" are kids who'll deliver on bikes into pedestrian zone) so I think I'll have some leeway for the first couple of months
I'm considering driving the car to the body shop, in the morning, but I'm not sure driving with a damaged roof and no rear window would be considered "safe". I've already removed the chunks of glass, but there are still pieces of it on the speaker deck.
Just get underneath it and push on the roof with your legs until it unbends back into place
Good question, let us know when you find out.

Post videos of people driving fast on public streets.

I can't believe how badly that guy got ass raped by the legal system afterwards. I'm still tempted to record a similar run where I live though.

What's the funnest car I can get for $3K?
>>17803398
miata or civix
>>17803398
MR2 AW11 or a kind of raunchy supercharged variant.
>>17803398
A salvage title 600cc motorcycle.
What F1 driver is most likely to be a regular on /o/ and why?
Rosberg.
>>17803353
Mad max
>>17803353
Max or Alonso. Max because he is a funny kid and Alonso because, well let's face it: life blows so you come to 4chan.
Hey /o/, I'm at an impasse, and really not sure where to go from here. On one hand, I have my cheap 3k budget that I can use on a cheap FWD and then mod the shit out of to make it fast as hell. On the other hand, drifting and the fun of RWD, but going with this, I would likely have to keep it stock (at least for a while) due to the increase in price. So what do I go with /o/? Maybe times are what matters in the end but is it better to buy cheap and go all out sooner or buy something to be modded in the long run?
>>17803251
If your budget is 3k you can't afford the tires for drift
Stop being poor
>>17803251
If you've only got 3K your priority should be saving, not drift/grip debate.
Also that's a powerslide.

Has there ever been a wagon more beautiful than the P1800es?
Also, wagon general
Any shooting brake is absolutely gorgeous by default.

shooting brakes are literally the ugliest body style ever made
did rally die? finfag used to post a lot here about rally. i never see any threads about rally of any kind anymore.
is it all dead?
>>17802677
There's still WRC...
Australia has a rally event coming up soon too.

Dirt Rally is my favorite racing game as well.
>>17802677
I try to get picture threads going every now and again. Some informational threads would be cool too, I really want to get into SCCA rallycross and eventually full on rallies
>>17804487
I enjoy Dirt Rally a lot as well, the Sweden courses really piss me off though lol.
Is 4 any good? I've heard the simulation mode rallies are a little more arcadey than Rally's but the change of pace and course variation are tempting
>Oops, sorry. oh but look, its fine it didnt even leave a mark
How do you respond to this? Theres a special ring in hell for those who don't watch their doors when they open them.

I have a inch and a half long dent on the ride side of my mk7 GTI. No fucking clue who did it, but its been driving me crazy for months. Gotta pony up soon to get that shit fixed. The perpetrator should literally be executed.
What are your opinions on the Audi brand (and quality) compared to German makers and others, and what are your opinions of their owners?
rebadged VW's
My B8 A4 is a fun daily and comfy at high speeds. $100 for an oxygen sensor though, so you gotta pay to play.
dont know about the owners but the cars have godlike rust protection. never see rusty ones.
far better than any other brand, period.
also understeer.
so if you live in canada or something its better than having a subaru
redpill me on the current m3 lads
It's a BMW.
It's overpriced shit.
>>17802228
Its a BMW.
Its an M sport model.
The suspension and handling is top notch for anything with a front mounted engine. They're reasonably fast, and sound alright too. Interior is typical BMW aside from the M sport steering wheel and one or two other things depending on how you option it. They've got tons of leg room which is nice, BMW is one of the only companies with a stock interior that I actually love.
If you like the way they look, and like the interior, there isn't a ton to complain about. The turbo i6 doesn't roar like the V8s though.

Is the AMC Eagle a good vehicle to buy as a fun weekend driver / project?
>inline six
>awd
>comfy
Seems like a full package.
>>17802213
They're pretty cool. AMC died too soon.
>>17802213
Yeah... But aren't parts basically non existent my now? These definitely didn't survive the rusty frozen wasteland of Canada.
It's basically an XJ for special snowflakes. Very cool if you can afford to maintain it but everything will be half as durable and 3x as expensive as for a Jeep.
