i have an 06 tacoma prerunner with aftermarket wheels and offroad tires. from 30-60mph it sometimes has a steering wheel wobble. already had the alignment and balancing done. any ideas what it could be? even if there's nothing damaged mechanically i would still like this to go away of course. thanks

It could be many things, motor mounts, steering rack bearings are going bad, just do a check, check it bearings make sure their good, if it's not broken why fix it?

i figured it out. It's the Air Intake Hose.
Took a little bit of research but I got it.
The hose is broken and I was trying to find the entire cover but I can just replace the hose 18 bucks on amazon. :)

Depends on design language. I can imagine muh angery Lexus look with pop-ups, but guess it would look more like Jarama (It would look extremely funny, when during the day car would just have tiny stripe for DRL and rest was hidden under the hood)

I test drove a 2015 with a manual transmission. I do not like driving stick, but that gearbox and clutch sucked ass, felt like a toy, but the biggest problem was the wonky ass power steering. It clicked and clunked around as I casually drove around the parking lot. It was bad. Like, Ive driven cars without powering steering and at leas they were smooth albeit heavy. The Soul was something I was considering since I was in a band and needed cargo room.

transmission slips a bit and burns oil, not a crazy amount but small clouds when i accelerate.
Is it worth investing in or should i just drive it till the engine dies?
if its worth it what can i actually do with it? anyone else here have a b13?

Yeah I got it for $800 and it's super economical, I put about 25 dollars every 2 weeks or so to fill up the tank. The engine is small but so is the car so it can be a little fun to drive. An engine swap would probably have it flying. It is too light tho making it a death trap. I guess I'll just run it till I kill it., or till it kills me

I just picked up a 92 XE coupe from a friend for $100. Changed the water pump and thermostat which was a BITCH.
Definitely a fun car to beat the shit out of though which is why I bought it. I'm just turning it into a rally car.
The car is a death trap for sure, I gutted the thing and the exhaust rusted off at the midpipe within 10 minutes after I got it running. The whole damn thing vibrates and rattles 24/7.
It's a fun shitbox car though, enjoy what you have for whatever you choose to do with it.
I hope you never have to change the water pump on that thing.
