Are there any good backroads near Omaha? I've lived here all my life so I know how laughably grid like it is, but I'm hoping to find anything to have fun on.

Has a car having bad visibility ever turned you off to it? For example did you buy a car not knowing it had terrible rear visibility and that was a deal breaker so you sold it because of that reason?

I have an 8th gen civic sedan which has shit tier rear visibility and I'm thinking about selling it for something else.

One reason I got tired of my Miata was the rearward visibility when the top was up. Whenever it was raining, snowing, too hot, or too cold I couldn't see shit on the highway.

I always wondered what really was the fucking point of that. surely they didn't fuck up the turbo piping that bad that they had to make a last-minute design edit to fit something under the hood.

If you want to race and build it, and have the know-how, sure. I don't think you would be asking us if you did.

I am saving up for a karting season next year and I want to buy a software/program that tracks my progress. I don't know what's it's called but I've seen it, you pair your camera with the program and it displays everything from G forces, brake and throttle input, time, circuit, path etc..

Any suggestions?

I've got a 2011 Honda Fit sport (see picture). My problem is that the car color (Milano Red) fades from age/heat and I got to repaint to keep it looking good. Now, should I just go with a comparable yet more durable color of paint or do something like the ceramic treatment? Or should I take it to the body shop every so often to do minor paint work?

Now with the body the plastic skirt is held on by clips and one of my skirts broke. Should I just remove both of them and bondo the holes or should I keep buying a skirt everytime it breaks?

Give me your best advice on what to do about both issues.

When you're talking about a car that old, common problems start taking a back seat to age related problems.

That car was a piece of shit when it was new and nothing has changed. If you want to waste your money on a rust bucket because its fast in Forza and Grand Turismo, go for it, but that car was born dog shit, and will remain dogshit forever. Ur a fag jdm tweeker for considering it. Grow up

I can handle some mild body/paint work, as well as leather. Plastic I'm kinda iffy on but I can handle the work.

Ok

I don't care if it's JDM. I'd settle for a USDM rebadged one. I just want a car I can mess around with. Might consider engine swapping it later on.

Hey /o/, I desperately need help. I'm somewhat knowledgeable about cars but not super well-versed. I drive an '01 Durango, 4.7 Magnum SLT trim, 4WD, yada yada. Was given to me by my father, as he needed something a bit more efficient. Long story short, the thing was running fine, then it rained really hard and it started running like shit. Whole car shakes and it idles really rough, will drive fine as long as you're in the gas, but the moment you let off and go to brake it stalls and has trouble starting back up. I'm really not sure what the fuck is wrong with it, but it's my daily and I really need to know what the issue is, and whether it's worth it to fix or just sell it and buy some shitbox. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance /o/.

So, I have a 2005 Hyundai Sonata. I took it into Mr.Tire to get emissions testing.

They said comeback after two weeks after it stopped throwing codes for a follow up test. I had to put 100 miles on it.

I take it into the shop, they call me and say "your cars computer is saying you haven't driven enough miles yet".

I've put 400 miles on that car in the last two weeks, it says it on the dashboard. But the car computer isn't saying that at all.

What do I do? Get a new computer? They are saying I have to take it to the manufacturer.

Are you one of those broke faggots that never fills up his tank and drives around on empty?
Or one of those paranoid retards that fills it up at 3/4?

Welcome back to another Night Wave thread.

Previously >>17769249

Harvey plans to stay till the end of the week, areas that are flooded may get worse
if there is an increase in rainfall. As of right now, no Night Wave cars are dead but we
haven't heard from every single member.
Most of the roads are flooded and there are only some routes you can take without being affected.
Many grocery stores and gas stations are out of supplies, so if you do one open, post up.
Park on high ground or use jack stands if you're worried about flooding.
Stay in touch and stay safe, it may get worse.
