Just tore up the rotted card/fiberglass bottom of my hooptie and found it very unsettling. Long story short what should I use to coat the bottom of the floor pan before placing in new lining and carpets? Bed liner? Or is there some sort of interior coating paint I don't know about?

I got a new job at McDonalds so I need a car for my commute each day. I found this car I looks cool and seems like it would be fun to drive and cheap would it be a good idea to get? My credit isn't great but there is this payday advance place by my house that is going to give me a loan for it. I know it's kinda old but im really good with cars I can change oil and spark plugs and put in an aftermarket air intake once. Should I do it bros?

Hey /o/ Any recommendations for a decent cruiser bike thats relatively cheap.. Preferaby around or under 2 grand... I'm not looking for a crotch rocket, I'm 6'3 and about 260 pounds.. so.. kind of like andre the giant on a moped.

I'm not new to motorcycles, I've owned a Suzuki DR200SE enduro growing up, and as of 2 years ago, I used to have an 81 Suzuki GS650G that was setup as a 'cruiser' (kinda retarded old man bike setup). It was.. slow for a sport bike, but comfortable to ride, and pretty easy to handle. The bike had been well maintained from an old man who got it to commute to Detroit from my home town (about 50 miles away)

I have a friend who is urging me to stay away from older 80s / 90s bikes because parts are getting tougher to find for bikes like the Honda Magna that I've been looking at. He also is a big anti Harley guy just because of a lot of problems himself and others have had with bikes. I also doubt that I could afford one in any drivable condition


Does /o/ have any suggestions as to what I should keep an eye out for?

Was at my job today, getting carts for the store I work for in the pouring rain..

Suddenly, gold car rolls up, and not shit fade-y 90's gold, actual gold (pic related that's the color).
As the guy makes his way in the parking lot, he revs the engine a respectable amount, not obnoxiously but enough to draw my attention

Guy gets out of his car, looks to be of some sort of Asian descent but hard to tell.
I look at his car closer
>emblem taken off front, likely modded
>swing around back, turns out its a Honda Civic
>WP
I swing back around a few minutes later to look in the window and see it's a manual, at this point I'm smiling thinking of all the things this person might do with their car
And then I realize

Can Oh recommend me a dash cam that can not only record the road in front of me but also the interior, specifically record the driver as well. A dual lense cam, I need it to record the driver and the road. Trying to keep the price under $100 if possible but open to all suggestion. Thanks.

Hey /o/, thinking about getting an audi TT for hill climb comps. Is it worth it? I have a 07 mustang that I did use for track days/hooning that im DD now because my wife took the saab when her gen 1 focus svt got totaled in a parking lot while we were at the movies. I fucking hate my mustang now that I DD it. going to trade it for a 12/24v cummins or a fucking clean ass CTS this week. anyfuckingways, TT to hoon in?

Is there some kind of specialist 'auto bounty' service? Like putting out a global contract to have a certain car of a certain quality delivered to a certain location.

Not a dealership or gumtree or anything like that, but for cars (and/or conditions) that would be difficult to find.

So the dealership is going to put a brand new engine in my car. Is there anything I should be careful about or know about beforehand?

They're paying for it since they sold me the piece of shit. But what does a new engine in a 8 year old car mean? Does the title status also change from Clean to Rebuilt?

My old car I've had for years is dying, it requires patch job repairs multiple times a month to keep it alive, it's time for a replacement
I need one that is a used 4 door car, and it has to have really good gas mileage, and is cheap, nothing else really matters

Picked up a 69 baja bug with rust spots, after sanding should I bother with a primer or should I just go full rattlecan and coat it 2-3 times? Its not like its an antique or something and a couple coats of metal spray paint usually does the job and I can always touch it up yearly. I have experience with rattlecan ghetto spray jobs from my old cherokee, but I wanna know if I'm committing a cardinal sin or something to bug enthusiests.

Road trip thread, stories, advice, photos etc.

Suppose you want to take a road trip from the Balkans to the south of France (spend a couple of months somewhere as a volunteer, practice the language etc.) What can one use to plan their itinerary across Europe?
Ideally I'd like to avoid highways (I'll be in no rush) and other toll roads, so I'd need up to date information on which countries have vignettes, what the toll roads are and other added costs.
And of course there are other questions like can you camp in the car in Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia etc. and is it a good idea to do so, maybe pitch a tent and camp next to the car or just use hostels, what parts and tools to carry in the car and so on.
I'll be saving up some money till spring next year and I still haven't decided on it firmly, because if the costs are too high I'll just buy plane tickets, but I think a road trip like this will be an adventure in itself.
