So I might to replace my computers ECM due to a bad signal to the fuel pump. Fuel pump relay gets grounded to 3v instead of 12. Possible bad connection or bad ecm. what ever. My car doesn't come with an immobilizer key. You think I can just go to the junkyard and pull one off of there?
Hey guys, I have a 2014 Ford Fusion SE with the 2.5L I4 duratec engine. I purchased it used at 70k km and it was mostly used for highway driving before I took ownership. Now when I first drove it I was stunned at the fuel economy difference since I was coming from an SUV and it hovered around 9.5. Now I have recently crossed 100k km and did an oil change recently using Quaker State 5W-20 "high mileage" oil and after doing so, resetting everything and driving around the past few days; I've noticed that not only is the engine smoother with less vibration through the chassis, but my fuel economy hovers around 8.4 max thus far. I thought the ecoboost engines were supposed to be better than the 2.5? I'm very happy with the car either way as it's always worked great mechanically and $20 CAD gives me nearly a half tank of gas, which lasts me usually about 3 weeks.

I recently got given a 06 Mazda Atenza as a company car. To compare it to my most similar car, an 07 CL7 accord, the Mazda:
>has less power
>is way uglier
>gets worse fuel economy
>aids interior
>only revs to 6k
>barely holds idle on startup and is falling apart
>has a shitty shift knob
Yet for some reason, this shitty 160hp Mazda 6 is one of the most fun cars I've ever driven
I find myself banging gears, doing pulls and casually speeding more than even my old DC5, and almost as much as my twin turbo
How did Mazda achieve this? Is it that whole jinba-ittai thing they always go on about?
vehicle off the road - literally
Every July and August every year Portugal is invaded with this kind of car. If you one of them "avecs" just kys
Ford Mustache
Let's keep these Nissan Generals going.
>in need of an OP pic like /hg/ and /tg/
Anyone willing to make it?
Hey /o/
I have an 04 Jeep grand cherokee V8. Ive been hammering for about two years now. I work at a mechanic shop and I now have some savings, about 30 grand worth, and am looking to upgrade.
I want something sporty, with a little bit of room, that doesnt require too much investment and can be a bit of fun. So far, asides from headgaskets, a modern WRX STI seems to fit the bill. Any thoughts on this car or suggestions to the contrary?
In terms of tastes I love e30/39/46's but they are getting way too common and you cant really find one in decent condition (I live in new york). I just want to live life a little bit while still being able to use it productively aka hauling stuff and 3-4 people around.
Is there a car on the market that fits the bill and doesnt have a shit ton of mechanical/electrical issues? I feel like working at a shop ruined my tastes completely - I now have no faith in any manufacturer or car that isnt a w123 chassis mercedes diesel - and even those things rust.
inb4 check sticky, i did and it seems a bit dated - especially to todays market.
>Honda crx
>Is that a car or a motorbike?
>Oh it's a car?
>Sounds like something a motorbike would be called.
Just a small question. Is your gearbox misbehaving too?
Mine's been fucky for quite a while. It's not properly entering first gear, even if the car is standing still and sometimes would resist entering third aswell. Worst I got with it was when it wasn't entering in any gear and the gearshifter actually went flaccid. The mechanic fixed it right away, and it worked fine for about 2-3 days and started misbehaving again.
I've been told before about the joy of GM gearboxes, but now I'm unsure if it's faulty from built or is it just my car that has a problem.
Local kid has an EK, now he bought a crashed 6th gen not long ago and fixed it (or I don't know if his dad fixed it for him) and lo and behold this one too is a fucking go kart. A Civic will cause the size of the brain to shrink.
/o/, am i crazy for seriously considering buying this? I just need something to run errands with, and commute a few miles three times a week. low mileage is intriguing but suspicious. how can i tell if the car has been sitting for years?

Is this a good first car?, it's dirt cheap for it's size and features in my country and it looks big asf...
Is this or the Montego a good first car?
>Thanks for the ride anon let me close that door, bye!
That's not as bad as giving a ride to someone who has a shitty car and they slam my fucking door like they need to slam their own car door.

For me it's the trunk, 2013 car does not need to be slammed!
>mind if I light up in here? You've got leather seats, so the smell won't settle
