navy has shitty uniforms go airforce you won't get raped and have the best looing tots in all of the military

What is it with people on Armslist and similar gun classifieds saying their guns are "new in box," when they clearly aren't? Same with Gunbroker. It seems half the professional sellers there seem to think that "new old stock" can apply to a 10 year old gun that has been shot to shit but just happens to look fine cosmetically.

I actually bought a USP9 from a professional gun store (I've even been to this store when I lived in the state and it has always seemed legit), through their Gunbroker account, who claimed that it was "new old stock." When I got it to my FFL, I found that the barrel actually had pitting in the rifling (yes, apparently HKs get pitting in their bores naturally after a couple tens of thousands of rounds). It wasted my time and my FFL's time because I had to return it to the seller.

Incidentally, why do so many people on gun classifieds websites take photos of their guns in holsters and/or with their fucking arm in the photo obscuring the gun?

My dudes, I need to pull any and all available info on the Carl Gustaf. The Marine Corps is getting rid of the SMAW and we're switching to the Gustaf in a few months. Now us 0351s sure as fuck aren't getting the newest M4 Gustafs, so I can only assume they'll be giving us the M3s. Can I get a hand from you guys in pooling all available info on the Gustaf? Thanks my dudes.

>leave it to the Marine corps to be 20+ years behind the Army

Contact the Ranger Regiment.

They started using those back in the early 90's to replace their old school M67 90's.
>>
>>34494240
We're supposed to be getting some SOF unit to come out and train us up on it, but being the Marine Corps I doubt it'll happen.
>>
>>34494248
I'm pretty sure NAVSOF has been using them for a while as well.

Call up one of your vanilla SEAL teams and see if they can help you out.

Regardless, it's a good piece of kit.

Depends
Have you ever shot a gun before?
How old are you?
Are you a big guy or a lil guy?
If you never shot a gun before and mid sized I'd say it's a good choice.
>>
yes its a good choice.
>>
If your gonna get a gun in 7.62x39 or 5.56 you might as well get a AR or AK

If you were buying a 44 magnum, would you choose a Smith & Wesson or a Ruger? I am torn between getting a S&W model 69 or a Ruger Redhawk (the one in the picture) and was hoping some people on here might have some valuable insight.
38 posts and 3 images submitted.
>>
Ruger, obviously. The existence of "Ruger-only" .44 MAG loads should put this one to bed instantly.
>>
>>34493494
Don't those loads only exist due to cylinder length?
>>
>>34493525
i believe they claim higher chamber pressures for the rounds also.

Is this going to be the next MO of ISIS once they get tired of driving cars into people?

i had the idea a while ago of strapping plastic explosives to RC jets to take out high ranking political targets, whether they are having a public address, in a car, plane, or even in a city they have the maneuverability, speed and size to be efficient. and they dont cost a lot either.
>>
>>34493362
This sounds like a great idea my fellow \k\ommando, let us meet in person to discuss it more. What is your address and do you mind if I bring a few like-minded friends?

So are you not supposed to spin your revolver cylinder around? Is it bad for it? Why?

Are you not supposed to flick it closed either? Why not?

You can spin it, just don't flick the cylinder back into position.
