Which branch of the us military should I join? Everyone told me navy or marines
Depends on your aptitudes and personality.

Anything but muhreens.

navy has shitty uniforms go airforce you won't get raped and have the best looing tots in all of the military
What is it with people on Armslist and similar gun classifieds saying their guns are "new in box," when they clearly aren't? Same with Gunbroker. It seems half the professional sellers there seem to think that "new old stock" can apply to a 10 year old gun that has been shot to shit but just happens to look fine cosmetically.
I actually bought a USP9 from a professional gun store (I've even been to this store when I lived in the state and it has always seemed legit), through their Gunbroker account, who claimed that it was "new old stock." When I got it to my FFL, I found that the barrel actually had pitting in the rifling (yes, apparently HKs get pitting in their bores naturally after a couple tens of thousands of rounds). It wasted my time and my FFL's time because I had to return it to the seller.
Incidentally, why do so many people on gun classifieds websites take photos of their guns in holsters and/or with their fucking arm in the photo obscuring the gun?

Camo mixing is worse than race mixing.
My dudes, I need to pull any and all available info on the Carl Gustaf. The Marine Corps is getting rid of the SMAW and we're switching to the Gustaf in a few months. Now us 0351s sure as fuck aren't getting the newest M4 Gustafs, so I can only assume they'll be giving us the M3s. Can I get a hand from you guys in pooling all available info on the Gustaf? Thanks my dudes.
>>34494212
>leave it to the Marine corps to be 20+ years behind the Army
Contact the Ranger Regiment.
They started using those back in the early 90's to replace their old school M67 90's.
>>34494240
We're supposed to be getting some SOF unit to come out and train us up on it, but being the Marine Corps I doubt it'll happen.
>>34494248
I'm pretty sure NAVSOF has been using them for a while as well.
Call up one of your vanilla SEAL teams and see if they can help you out.
Regardless, it's a good piece of kit.
What are you planning edition.

Anyone know what upper this is?
Would a CZ 527 be a good first rifle?
>>34493645
Depends
Have you ever shot a gun before?
How old are you?
Are you a big guy or a lil guy?
If you never shot a gun before and mid sized I'd say it's a good choice.
yes its a good choice.
If your gonna get a gun in 7.62x39 or 5.56 you might as well get a AR or AK

$10 says this is drug related. Not knocking Oak Cliff, but that's how it is.

Boring video, extremely poor operating considering how the defender died.
If you were buying a 44 magnum, would you choose a Smith & Wesson or a Ruger? I am torn between getting a S&W model 69 or a Ruger Redhawk (the one in the picture) and was hoping some people on here might have some valuable insight.
Ruger, obviously. The existence of "Ruger-only" .44 MAG loads should put this one to bed instantly.
>>34493494
Don't those loads only exist due to cylinder length?
>>34493525
i believe they claim higher chamber pressures for the rounds also.
something something stronger frame

>drop explosives from the air or kamikaze drone into crowd
>close to impossible for law enforcement to find location of drone pilot
Is this going to be the next MO of ISIS once they get tired of driving cars into people?
>>34493220
i had the idea a while ago of strapping plastic explosives to RC jets to take out high ranking political targets, whether they are having a public address, in a car, plane, or even in a city they have the maneuverability, speed and size to be efficient. and they dont cost a lot either.
>>34493362
This sounds like a great idea my fellow \k\ommando, let us meet in person to discuss it more. What is your address and do you mind if I bring a few like-minded friends?
>>34493614
What type you prefer and why
1. Semi auto
2. Bolt action
>>34493160
>implying theres more than 4 people here that shoot beyond 500yds.
>implying that those people call themselves snipers.
Is it School holidays in the states?
Bolt action.
>>34493160
I prefer semi but only shoot 500-800 tops.
One Bastard smg please

That will get you one bottle of vodka in Venice, stranger. You're stupid if you think that's enough for a shooter.
So are you not supposed to spin your revolver cylinder around? Is it bad for it? Why?
Are you not supposed to flick it closed either? Why not?
You can spin it, just don't flick the cylinder back into position.
>>34492728
You're likely to fuck up the crane if you flick it closed
>>34492728
You could also bust the locking lugs.
Not Compensating For Anything Edition
Little guns welcome. Post 'em.

So /k/, are there any particular guns you have a fetish for?
I really want to fuck a VSS. I want to sleep with it every night. I want to have it with me all the time. I don't know how I'll fuck it, but I will fuck it.
I don't know man it looks like shit and it's only 9mm so why even put a scope on it
>>34492305
I have a thing for AR-18s (thank Terminator). After seeing that movie when I turned 18 I went out and bought an AR-180.
>>34492352
>9mm
5.56x45 is only a .22 caliber round? WTF I hate NATO now.

You're a wild and crazy guy. The internets sure are weird these days.
