Has anyone ever actually found anything good on Armslist or Gunbroker?

If you want protection when buying from gunbroker use the escrow service option.

The buyer pays the escrow company. The seller ships the gun, tracked, the escrow company sees when the gun shows up. The buyer has 48-72 hours to accept the product or ship it back

If the buyer accepts the ecrow company send the seller the funds. If the buyer refutes, they must send the firearm back.

I live in California so we can't get a lot of new handgun models. Only ones we can buy new have to be on our approved handgun roster list, if you want a new or recent model of handgun you have to do a private party transfer. I usually look up CalGuns or Armslist and it's always LEO or new residents charging up the ass for something. This morning I saw a guy charging 800 for an LC9 and another guy charging 1250 for a VP9.

The only good buy I've ever had was a hardly used Saiga shotgun with ammo and mags for 400 last year.

I still get nice stuff. Just gotta know what to look for. Got two S&W shotguns for $49.99+shipping. One's a rare Marine/Trench parts gun, the other appears to have everything but the stock. Trigger assemblies usually sell for 75-100 on eBay by themselves.

Also grabbed a Carcano for $40 recently. Fucker is even accuracy marked. Needs bolt parts but I have them somewhere, or if not, I know a mail-order company that has complete bolts for $40 right now.
