I want to get the cheapest possible salt rifle because I sold my AR a while ago to move and now I'm stable and need something other than my Glocc. Should I buy

>AMD65
>Complete AR lower and then a 3-400 dollar complete PSA upper
The AR is the most full proof and likely to not be a piece of shit at a low price point these days, but I'm sick of ARs. I've seen good reviews on C308s, and mixed reviews on RAS47s/AMD65s.

How would someone who has no experience but wants to become more familiar and comfortable with guns go about doing that? I'd like to get a weapon for home protection and for open carry but I have no real experience with them yet, though I do feel I would be comfortable handling one. Also what would be the best "beginner" handgun I guess you could say. I'd like to spend less than a grand, and my main options where I live are pawn shops and Academy.

Not sure if OP meant pic related but NOT with a snub nose revolver in any respectavle caliber- it will turn you off of shooting.
The reason being the lighter frame of the shorter barrel means less of the force of the shot is absorbed by the mass of the gun, that force transfers into your palm and you will feel as though you were "bit" or smacked with a yard stick right on the palm. It isnt unbearable by any means but for a new shooter it will throw off your aim and irritate you.
I suggest AR they have essentially no recoil unless youre skeleton teir skinny and are pretty fun to shoot when youre a beginner. Also theyre cheap now. Look into entry level rugers and Smith and wessons

I work at a museum, and we are doing a world war 1 reenactment with a deactivated vicker's machine gun from world war 1. I need to find 5 minutes of clean audio (or more audio that I can edit down to 5 minutes) of one firing at targets for the display. Have any of you guys seen something like that? I haven't been able to find anything like it on youtube or anything. Pic related, it's our gun during one of our previous reenactments.

Alright /k/omrades, last thread I made was discussing battleships, but then I got a brilliant idea.

We'll try one thread now and see how it goes. Depending on the results I'll create more in the future. The scenario is this simple. Open Pacific waters, absolutely no obstructions, both ships see eachother at the exact same time. In this thread the two combatants are The Kirov Class Cruiser VS The Admiral Graf Spee
>Kirov is longer
>Graf is heavier
>Kirov has nearly double the horsepower
>Graf can travel almost ten knots quicker (kek)
>Graf has belt armour of 80mm, Main deck of 17-45mm, and turrets have 140mm
>Kirov has Main deck armour of 50mm, Turrets have 50mm, and belt has 50mm
>Kirov has 180mm B1P guns, 100mm B34, 45mm 21K AA guns, 12.7mm Machine guns, and 533mm torpedo tubes along with 50 depth charges
>Graf has 11 inch triple turrets (fucking wikipedia changed the units on me and I'm too lazy to switch them back but you get the idea), 5.9 inch single turrets, and 53.3cm torpedo tubes
So /k/, in open waters, both of these ships have their sides facing eachother and see eachother at the time time. Who wins? (Sorry for the rough first thread, depending on how this goes the next one will be much easier to read)
