Just saw side charging uppers for the AR-15. To me they look pretty sexy in all black, and it would be nice to have it on the left side. Is this good idea or bad? What's your opinion on it /k/?

I have the left side sealed one from x products. I like it
Would the charging handle get hot?
>>34865637
If the charging handle was available on the left side, so I wouldn't have to reach around that would be great.
Nice find, Anon!

THE FUCKING EJECTION PORT IS ON THE LEFT?
Does anyone make a high quality and battle ready confederate saber?
all i see around is cheap wall hangers.
bump.
>>34865447
Windlass Steelcrafts makes reasonable quality sabers. Definitely on the cheap-end of battle ready but functional.

Agent Orange will be on this operation with his sidekick, Willy Pete.
All memes aside. Are there any benefits to owning a skeletonized AR-15 that can justify the cost.
>>34865288
Pocket sand just got way more dangerous.
>>34865288
depends on where the skeletons are
You're now in charge of a rescue mission.
The hostages are being held on an oil rig by some pirates.
How do you take the oil rig?
>>34865205
You retard. You can't take an oil rig. It's too big to pick up.

P320 actual upgrade discussion thread
I'll start. They're saying return all slides including Cal Xchange kits for machine work (installation of disconnect). Does this mean once they start rolling new cal xchange kits off the line, they won't work on my gun if I CBF sending it in for "upgrage"?
>>34864931
*upgrade
>>34864931
from the sig website. New striker, too
>>34864931
so what actually ended up being wrong and how expensive is this going to be in sig to recut a mess of slides?

You have my pistolfu and one of my top 2 favorite rifles, you win. The can is on the wrong pistol though.
I have a couple sets us U.S. BDU's and an aspenflage poncho...but I want something semi-practical that I can get some actual use out of.
I've been eyeing some British DPM...I'm leaning toward the summer/desert pattern because I like the look better, but the jungle pattern might be more effective as actual camouflage. I'll robably get something simple like a field shirt- but the DPM hooded smock looks tacticool, but I'm not sure if I'd ever wear it in public.
Then kommandostore has so SADF gear in Dirt color that seems to have provenance if not practicality...
Help me pick my first piece for innawoods/attarange use.
>>34864737
Flecktarn.
>cheap
>pattern functions innawoods
>an upper and jeans works well
>foreign, so you don't get assraped by misguided stolen valor fags
>comfy as fuck cotton/polyester blend
>reasonable pocket distribution, doesn't look like you are carrying the world on your chest
>well built
>did I say cheap, I did? well my backspace key sticks, so this is staying here
I don't fucking know. Buy what you like.Fleck is what I like. But I have seen civilian made cloths in DPM pattern, so it is certainly acceptable.
>>34865009
I thought about Flecktarn, but it does kind of stand out, and some here seem to think it's the official uniform of the school shooters squad...
Or maybe add a Bundeswehr PT shirt with a crest on it...
>>34865059
>Flecktarn is for le school shooters xD
No. Stop that. Whoever says that is either a newfag or retarded, or maybe both. Flecktarn is *the* camo of /k/, and anyone who says otherwise it's a nigger.
What Firearms manufacture has the best customer support/customer friendly attitude?
>>34864699
I had multiple questions for Remington customer service today and the guy hung up after answering the first one. HK was unironically better and emailed me scans of literature I wanted.
>>34864699
You posted it. Never had an issue with s&w.
Whether it was needing some work done on an old revolver that I was the 3rd owner of, a 3rd gen that I wad the 2nd owner of, or because I was an idiot and didnt know my m&p had a mag safety, they've always fixed the issue. Their warranty is awesome, and their customer service will hold your hand and explain things to you like You're a 3rd grader if they need them to
>>34864718
I've heard Remington is notorious for having shitty customer service.
I know recently there was the story of the defective Remington 700 that killed some kid and his brother went to jail for it.
Op found a NIB AUG for 700$
Is this rifle worth buying? Ive been looking for an AK before the market completely dries up and dies, however I have always wanted to try a bullpup. The only immediate complaint i have is against the trigger, and 556 is underpowered.
Whats /k think?
>>34864627
No, horrible deal. Don't buy. Where? Tell me where you found it.
>>34864627
No, no don't buy it we'll buy it and save you the trouble. You just need to tell us where we can find it.

/k/ I recently watched Trigun and fell in love with all the over-the-top and sometimes ridiculous guns that everyone uses.
I especially liked Ruth's rifle. For those who haven't seen the show, it's a double-barreled rotating-barrel magazine-fed lever-action rifle. Each barrel is fed by it's own magazine, making the gun look like a cross.
I was wondering: Is such a gun even mechanically possible?
Is it possible to have a lever-action work with two separate feeds while also rotating the two barrels?
Webm in the next post.
Here's a webm I made of the weapon in action
Here's a drawing of it from the Trigun artbook.
The best I could come up with was this:
>Lever-action only rotates the barrels. it has nothing to do with cycling the rifle
>The two barrels are basically just two seperate semi-auto rifles welded together
So hypothetically you could just fire one 'barrel' repeatedly without the rotating part, but to use the gun in the cool way oyu would work the lever action, which just rotates the barrels.
>>34864548
It might work if the lever action rotates the action like a revolver but then you'd have to figure out a mechanism to strip the cartridges from their magazines. It's hilariously impractical but would be pretty cool to see irl.
