question:
Has anyone else had issues with their BCG not locking back on an empty mag with a pistol buffer tube?
I picked up a no name brand from a LGS for stupid cheap and the BCG won't go far enough back to make contact with the bolt catch. I'm running a spikes H3 buffer.
pic not related. but considering getting. that or an SB tac extended pistol buffer tube. I'm already running a KAK brace.

I've heard good things but I don't know as much about the ruger american specifically
Savage Axis II with scope combo is really popular in the states and people swear by them. I held one at a gun store a few months ago and the bolt was SO stiff i had to slap it around but who knows, could have been a lemon
Also I hear that the Compass by Thompson Center is actually a way better gun than the savage but I don't think there are any scope combos

They are a budget rifle, and for the price they are in the US, they are a good value. A savage or Remington in the same price range are also equally as good of a value, but have the added benefit of a much broader aftermarket.

So, Trump seems to want to go to war and I think we'd be able to stop NK nukes, but in the event we can't and nukes hit, what's your survival plan? I'm in Michigan and work for a bike dealership so I'm stealing a truck and trailer, fueling up the truck and the bikes and 4 ten gallon Jerry cans and go as far north as that truck will take me, then take the bikes into Canada and head at least 300 miles from the nearest major city, taking as much survival gear with me and to make this a legit /k/ thread, what gun would you take?
