Why do foreigners in French army fight better than Frenchmen in French army?
>>33263627
They're not French.
>>33263627
A lot of their NCO's are made from ex-servicemen of their native countries, so their training and tactics per say reflects that.
The FFL is a bit of a meme desu. They're hard competent men, but most of what is said of them is true of the rest of the french military. Think of them as the french version of USMC motard shit, minus the bumper stickers.

For a weaker action and less available parts/repair. So now that the 10 gauge is out anything of value in the thread or is this needing sage

Should i just cave into my desires and buy a Benelli M4 Super 90?
theres not really a downside is there?
>>33263104
Other than cost, no.
>>33263104
Recoil
Mossberg 930 is cheaper and nearly as good
>>33263171
>nearly as good
so i take it the Benelli is considered a good shotgun then?
my intrest in semi automatic shotguns is pretty new, to be honest. Thought about getting an AUG but after shooting a semi auto shotgun, things changed.
i dont like the looks of the Mossberg as much.
I have $1300 in tax returns coming my way and want to satisfy my fetish for cool stuff mainly seen in use in the 80's
On the list
-Money towards a Franchi SPAS 12
-Zenith Mp5 Pistol to SBR later on
-AR180
-Jericho 941
-PSL with adapters to fit an SVD hanguard
What's the best use of my gov. bux on this list?
Bumping with images
>>33263093
>that list
Literally me.
I only have the Jericho so far, and it's a fun gun, as well as the cheapest thing there assuming you're not competing with weebs to get a kbi imported 941r.
If you're going purely for 80s style and don't care about utility, go with the spas.
>“We're going to soon have more coming,” Trump told an enthusiastic audience of sailors, declaring the new carriers so big and solidly built that they were immune to attack.
>In a combat exercise off the coast of Florida in 2015, a small French nuclear submarine, the Saphir, snuck through multiple rings of defenses and “sank” the U.S. aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt and half of its escort ships. In other naval exercises, even old-fashioned diesel-electric submarines have beaten carriers.
>The new weapons include land-based ballistic missiles, such as China’s Dong Feng-21 anti-ship missile, which has a claimed range of 1,100 miles (1,770 kilometers) and moves at 10 times the speed of sound. Certain Russian and Chinese submarines can fire salvoes of precision-guided cruise missiles from afar, potentially overwhelming carrier-fleet anti-missile defense.

why not start developing a submersible aircraft carrier?

Why not make a landing pad on land? We shall call these things land carriers.
Thinking of getting a Weatherby Orion from my local store for ~$949.00
When I was looking around, this thing was compared to SKB's model a lot, but the price for those are over $1500.00
The only other local fare is borderline antique and a newfag like me wants a good starting point for shotguns. Thoughts?
>>33262511
Get a Remington Model 31. $300-400 and it's better than most of the shit out there.
>>33262532
Cheers.
That's a sexy gun. What are you going to use it for?
Over unders are classy and great for clays and some types of hunting. If you're duck hunting you'll probably want a semi-auto.
My personal favorite shotgun is the Winchester SX-3, but I'm a semi-auto guy.

Should I strip and clean my new 1911 before shooting it for the first time? How many rounds should I put into it before cleaning it again and how many for the break in?
No I'm not gonna fucking google it.
>Talks about 1911
>Posts picture of a famas
What?
>>33262006
cleaning 1911s can fuck up the finish and wear out the rifling. You're better off just spraying it down with wd40 and wiping it dry.
Newfag here,
I'm going on a summer course with the military. It's going to be about 2 months long with about 3 weeks in the field. Anyone have a preference of boot? I've been debating between swats and magnums. PT most mornings will consist of weighted marches, and the field portion will involve a lot of patrolling, so I'm looking for a boot that's good both in garrison and in the field. Any suggestions?
Also debating on buying some gore-tex to go under my uniform for the field, so general equipment thread.
Any and all input is appreciated.
>>33261850
If you wanna be a normie, the Nike SFB isn't bad. I wear Mini Mil's on post but would never take them to the field. Heard good thing about Danner's too.
>>33261860
I like the look of Nike SFB, they kind of remind me of jungle boots, looks nice and lightweight. As of now anything would be better than the issued Mark IVs I have, shits are so hard on the knees and I've rolled my ankles thousands of times.
It's also hard to tell if regulations will give me any shit about Nikes. I know Swats and Magnums are fine
>>33261899
I'm National Guard, and I see people wearing Nike's left and right. Hell, a lot of my Drill Sergeants back at OSUT wore them.
