I have $1300 in tax returns coming my way and want to satisfy my fetish for cool stuff mainly seen in use in the 80's
On the list
-Money towards a Franchi SPAS 12
-Zenith Mp5 Pistol to SBR later on
-AR180
-Jericho 941
-PSL with adapters to fit an SVD hanguard
What's the best use of my gov. bux on this list?
Bumping with images

>that list
Literally me.
I only have the Jericho so far, and it's a fun gun, as well as the cheapest thing there assuming you're not competing with weebs to get a kbi imported 941r.
If you're going purely for 80s style and don't care about utility, go with the spas.
>>33263093
Put it in a Roth IRA and invest in some Vanguard index fund instead.
You'll thank me in 40 years.
>>33263093
Why get a psl ? :/
>>33263500
I'm set to start a job by June that will quadruple my current income.
I already have a modest portfolio but unless you know what you're doing in industrials, healthcare and financials right now, upside is minimal and vanguard ETFs are BORING except for maybe VYM

I like my SLR104, and like Dragunovs and wan't something approximate in looks. I'd consider a VEPR in x54r, but it doesn't feel the same
>>33263570
IMO the psl feels more bulkier than the dragunov. Never liked holding that gun ...

BONER WHY
>>33263093
MP5
>>33263628
Is it fun to shoot?
Better than an AR pistol?
The first gun I ever shot was a FA Mp5 at a machine gun range in NH when I was 15.
I've never been the same since.
The *SLAP* has always had a direct line to my heart
>>33263647
I absolutely love this gun. I am so god damn accurate with it. MP5s are so much fun to have and shoot and it makes a great little back pack gun. I will tell you this. If you get a MP5k clone the SBR is 100% needed, but if you get a fullsize MP5 clone you can get a brace and still shoot a lot more comfortable and save yourself paperwork. Your choice of which you want, I like both and am thinking about getting another MP5.

From that list either the 180 or the Zenith. Fun is highly subjective of course, but I think those will be the most fun for you.
>>33263684
The size factor is what makes it so damn cool with the k + folder
>>33263699
I already have an AR, is the 180 different enough in feel and operation to make it seem novel?
>>33263703
I shot her for 6+ months with a shockwave blade. It's doable, but the foregrip really makes the k more comfortable.
I love my PSI. Yes fags, I also fell for the "make my PSL look like an SVD" meme a few years back but I got lucky and this one shoots great.
>>33263710
Is yours a zenith or omega or hk or what?
>>33263703
>I already have an AR, is the 180 different enough in feel and operation to make it seem novel?
It is to me, but again, highly subjective.
>>33263727
Zenith, it's honestly the best bang for your buck you can get in MP5s. They come with 3 mags, slings, cleaning kit and a nice carrying kit. They have the paddle release and I haven't heard of any issues with one. The PoFs I've heard are pretty good as well, but don't come with the extras. Omegas I believe are some of Chuck Malta's productions (great guy by the way, he runs Kelly Enterprises who sells the lowest priced Zeniths I've seen and always has them in stock) and are supposedly pretty good, but again don't have the extras.

I'm even more conflicted now
>>33263608
Never buy a SPAS12
They're not very well designed, ergonomically a bitch and when you inevitably break something internal finding replacement parts is a goddamn vision quest
>>33263797
MP5 Anon, she needs you
>>33263797
Don't forget that if you go with the full size Zenith mp5, you'll need to get the jungle handguard for maximum 80s look.
>>33263500
Dont plan to make it that far desu
would rather be happy now
>>33263570
>Wastes his time trying to beat the market when it's been shown that the "experts" can barely beat it if at all.
Also, going from minimum wage to a real adult wage isn't something to start blowing money over.
>>33263093
$1300 is fuck all and not enough to get or feed anything cool. Save your dosh and adjust your witholding, degenerate.
>>33263500
my parents have like 20-25k in a Roth IRA for me, I'm 19. how helpful is this?
>>33264389
You have, at bare minimum, 20-25k
You're good
>>33263093
>Franchi SPAS 12
Trash memegun with zero spare parts availability.
And you will need spare parts.
>-Zenith Mp5 Pistol to SBR
Yes.
>-AR180
>-Jericho 941
Meh.
>PSL with adapters
Pretend Dragunovs are gay af.
>>33263570
PSL is garbage
54R is garbage
If you want an AK-type battle rifle there are several 308 options.
