How do the Selous Scouts compare to modern SOF?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selous_Scouts
>>33275565
they have short shorts so they are infinitely cooler
>>33275747
don't be a shitlord answer the question
In what way? They wrote the book on modern counter-insurgency and things haven't changed that much since then, they'd be on par. In conventional war they'd probably get reamed as simply weren't geared for it, they were not ranger equivalents or anything. Getting in standing gunfights was a job for the RLI and RAR.
Any Anons know of any good ranges inna MD? Preferably Annapolis area.
>>33275262
Apparently Baltimore is a great 2 way range, according to statistics
The Naval Academy
>>33275273
thanks lad.
Let's talk tanks, /k/
I like tanks.
Auto-loaders vs human loader?
In this day and age why would you not use an auto-loader?
>>33275069
tanks are cool
You white bwoys ain't got nothing on me lol. I'll chop you down like Paul Bunyan. This is what I'm working with EDC! Play with me if you want.

Hey /k/,

>>33274871
10/10 breddy great desu senpai\
Get a unpaper slavnigger M70 from the Balkans to keep it company though.
>>33274871
Uh. Okayish because you're a Euro but otherwise a bit shitty.
>not a 1911
Give it to a refugee so they may slay you and get away with it because "culture/'
Been thinking of getting the Ruger LCR .38 as my first gun and as a conceal carry. Thoughts?
>>33274807
>the Ruger LCR .38
You could do a lot worse.
A snubby isn't much fun on a range, but it's a viable CC piece.
>>33274807
>A snubby isn't much fun on a range
this, jesus. the LCR is really, really light.
after putting 100 rds through one my wrist was not liking it.
>>33274936
Whats a better option for CC? I was looking at the PPK and Sig p232 as well, but I know a DA revolver is really safe.
>move into a town house
>don't really interact with my roomates much, but as I understand it: there's a slightly rude chinaman, an overly talkative but friendly college student, and a possibly schizophrenic lady
>try to keep my gun-nuttery on the DL
>recieve things like pic related in the mail all the time
Uh.....thanks...NRA
Still opened it at the promise of free guns.

and you'll pay the taxes on the grand prize. It's in there in the fine print. They'll 1099 you for the msrp of the total of all the guns won.
>>33274593
>and you'll pay the taxes on the grand prize. It's in there in the fine print. They'll 1099 you for the msrp of the total of all the guns won.
okay, death and taxes everyone knows this shit. stop acting like anytime its not in bold print they are trying to hide it.
>>33274566
and you, stop acting like a little bitch. your a man, no one gives a fuck what you own or do and if they do care? you should confront them, tell them to shut the fuck up and to mind their buisness.
I'm looking into building a shoot house on my property but I wanted to try a form of simunition until I have the time to bulletproof the walls. I've heard that "Force on Force" requires a lot less cleaning after use than "Simunition", has anyone else heard anything on either or similar products?
What is the "best" non lethal simulation paint marker round?
Ideally:
>simple swap out of the bolt for rifle
>compatible with AR15 platforms
>low cleaning/maintenance requirements
>durability, I.E. good for a high volume of repeated use
>>33274407
bump?
We can't talk about paintball here.
>>>/asp/
>>33274407
>simply swap out the bolt.
You'll at least need to swap the bolt and recoil buffer, and spring, most of these, at least simunition, require a new barrel with different headspacing that prevents you from loading live rounds. It also has a different twist rate on the rifling so the bullet stabilizes properly.
A conversion kit will run you around 400 dollars for an AR-15, and ammo is something like 2 dollars a round. I'm sure LE and military get better pricing, but simunition won't directly sell to individuals so you're kind of fucked in that department. There's also some gay safety shit they try to sell to you, but fuck that noise.
Wear a facemask and some padded clothes, maybe a buy a flak jacket for like 80 bucks for that A E S T H E T I C and to reduce the severe pain.
PROTECT THE TESTES
That's pretty much it.
What is your most prized firearm within your collection, /k/?
>pic related, 1911 DWM luger brought back by my grandfather (Mom's side) from WWII.
>>33274343
>1911 DWM luger brought back by my grandfather
very cool anon, my grandfather only brought back 1 thing from the war: a bullet that was shot out of a machine gun. The downside is he left his legs behind.
as for my most prized gun, probably my great grandfathers Remington 760 gamemaster. It means alot to me when i go hunting with inherited hunting guns.

What does the perfect soldier look like /k/?
>>33274285
You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.
>>33274285
Nugget prices are now reaching almost nothing lower than 200$ for something that isn't shit. Spam cans are at least 100$ a can. that's 20c a round. Is it time we find the new cheap bolt gun to replace said nugget?
>>33274028
The m1 carbines and Grand from Korea would do it.
Much nicer firearms than a shityy nugget.
>>33274028
You wont find something to replace the nugget because nothing is less expensive than the nugget. People getting into milsurp guns are just going to have to pony up.
>>33274028
>Is it time we find the new cheap bolt gun to replace said nugget?
Pretty sure we found the Savage Axis about 4 years ago, OP.
How do we take over Jeff Epstein's harem island for the Cube?
Kube demands we confiscate his bull as well
/k/ related shit for under $20?
I get my /k/ related shit for free, courtesy of the government.
I've been down this road. Spending stupid money on ""/k/ related things""
save up for a gun or if you do, buy ammo. Seriously.
>>33273661
Your government gives out socks?
What socialist piece of shit country?
Heritage rough rider: shit, or the shit?
Keep the price in mind here, talking ~150
>>33273272
Pretty shit, but for the price its a decent plinker. Would be better to save up for something good.
>>33273272
really good for what it is but ultimately disposable. think of it like a bic pen or lighter. when its empty you got your moneys worth out of it just toss the thing when its shot out.
>>33273272
Save your money for something better.
Anyone on /k/ live in Albuquerque NM?
I'm curious if you happen to know where a good place outdoors to shoot would be. Dont want to spend my money at Calibers just due to the fact that ranges arent as fun.
>>33273124
Sup ABQAnon, Rio Rancho fag here. I go shooting out here, it's bretty gud. Download some land use maps before you head out there so you don't accidentally shoot on the rez
>>33273221
Thats actually what I'm afraid of! Dont want some tribal cop confiscating my rifle cuz his stupid sacred land is holier than thou. Where can I download?
>>33273242
So I use an app on my phone called ArcGIS Explorer. The app is available on iPhone and Android, as well as Mac and PC. The link that follows is the land use map link for NM.
